| Higgins Lake Information |
 | | Higgins Lake is a beautiful natural lake, noted for its clear waters. There are three boat launch sites, two state parks, and beaches on the shores of the lake. The surrounding areas are great for hiking and cross-country skiing. Higgins Lake is named after Michigan’s first state topographer Sylvester Higgins. It is connected to Marl Lake via the Cut River. This provides visitors to Higgins Lake an excellent opportunity to fish for pike, perch, and trout. There are two public state parks on the northern and southern side of Higgins Lake and both provide public launches and camping. More information about Higgins Lake can be found on HigginsLake.info. |
