Kennisis Lake - the largest in the Haliburton Highlands with 3500 acres - offers 26 miles of shoreline and has been the perfect vacation spot for generations of Canadians and visitors. The shoreline is almost all privately owned cottages which allows visitors to really feel like a part of the wilderness surrounding the lake.

The lake is known for its wildlife viewing and a visit from a bear is not uncommon. Rentals are available at the marina located on the south shore. The lake is great for fishing all year round.
