Taluswood #1 Heidi O. from Cypress, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2011 The location of "ski-in-ski-out" was not accurate, and would not have been booked if we knew that. Also, the upper bunk bed that was counted on for one of the people in our group was broken and almost impossible to climb into, so they had to sleep on the couch for the week, which was not acceptable. Not a single spice or any type of condiment was available in the rental. We would have liked to know that is advance, as we were cooking all our meals at the rental. Possible improvement would be to let the future renters know this so that can order from the store, or bring with them if they plan on cooking as well as the tightness of the bunk room. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2011 Nice house, spacious, quiet location, a bit of a hike up a road to get to the ski-out in the morning (10 minute walk). Bring your own frying pan (they supply 4 or 5, all old and questionable) and knives (no paring knives, rest need sharpening). Otherwise the kitchen is well supplied. Mixed review on property manager - forgot to give us file of information at check in, then dropped it off 2 days later. Also required repeated calls to drop off dish detergent. Allowed us 2 hours grace in check-out which was appreciated. Also very pleasant e-mails when we booked.
