Lac du Flambeau is located in Vilas and Iron Counties, Wisconsin. The area is great for canoeing, waterskiing, boating, and exploring the many trails. You can go hiking, biking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing or horseback riding. There is bow and arrow deer hunting from October through December and a rifle season in November. Other area attractions include the Powell Marsh Wildlife Area, George W. Brown, Jr. Ojibwe Museum & Cultural Center, and summertime Ojibwe tribe pow-wows on the shores of Long Interlaken lake. |
