Kerr Lake (also known as Buggs Island Lake) offers 850 miles of shoreline in Virginia and North Carolina. The lake is great for boating, skiing, sailing, and windsurfing. There is also excellent fishing for largemouth and striped bass, catfish, and crappie. The surrounding areas are very popular for nature watching.
