Inks Lake, located approximately 55 miles from Austin, is an 831 acre reservoir on the Colorado River. The lake is an excellent location for boating, skiing, scuba diving, and fishing. At Inks Lake State Park, visitors can enjoy a number of activities including backpacking, hiking, and golfing on the 9-hole course, which rents clubs and carts.
