Lake Georgetown is a reservoir located in Williamson County, just west of Georgetown and 20 miles north of Austin. Lake Georgetown is has three parks Camping is also at several parks operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Picnic areas, group shelters, and a swimming beach are available. A 16 and one half mile hiking trail circles Lake Georgetown.
