South Holston Lake is a 23 mile long reservoir located in the northeastern corner of Tennessee. Those who want to get on the water will find South Holston Lake a great location for boating, canoeing, water sports, jet-skiing, and swimming. Those in the mood for fishing will find a plentiful supply of black bass, crappie, walleye, sunfish, and catfish. The area surrounding the lake is excellent for hunting and hiking. After a long day of exploring nature, the two parks on the lakeshore provide a great spot for picnicking. South Holston Lake is on the South Holston Fork River on the Tennessee / Virgina border. |
