Located in northeast Oregon, the most notable feature at Wallowa Lake is the Wallowa Lake Tramway. It is the steepest tramway from the United States. Once you reach the top you can enjoy the view of four states while you have a drink at the deli. Other area activities include hiking, parasailing, horseback riding, boating and fishing for kokanee and trout.
