Lake Logan

What's unique about Lake Logan is the scenic hills that surround it. One may hike through acres of cherished hills from their vacation rental. One such trail is informally called the "view", or Pine Vista Hiking Trail, just across from Lake Logan road. It has a walking distance of one mile and circles itself around a hill top that allows observers to gather information about nature. Biking through narrow and rocky trails can be quite the adventure as well. Lake Logan is also one of Ohio's best fishing areas, which is why a fishing license is required. To get another perspective of the fish, one may find a 527-foot swimming bar on the north shore. Boating is welcome to those who stay under 10 mph. This allows visitors to observe true beauty from the water.

Not only is Lake Logan rich with natural scenery, but it once belonged to the Wyandot Indians. Therefore, it makes sense that it's name, Lake Logan, was meant to honor its Native American founders. It is is located in Hocking County in southeastern Ohio and allows fishing, swimming, boating, hiking and more.
