Littlejohn Lake is a beautiful small lake in the town of Allegan, Michigan. Allegan is in southwest Michigan about 30 miles northwest of Kalamazoo. The lake is surrounded on two sides with trees only (no homes) and there is a public beach access and county park, but no public boat access. There are only 14 homes on the rest of the lake.

Allegan is the county seat for Allegan County. It is surrounded by state game land and the Allegan County fair draws thousands each September. The town is located on the Kalamazoo River and has a river walk and antique stores.
