1,442-acre Webster Lake has the official name of Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg, which means "Englishmen at Manchaug at the Fishing Place at the Boundary." The lake is home to 17 species of fish, including bluegill, yellow perch, smallmouth bass, and black crappie. Other popular Webster Lake activities include sailing, boating, waterskiing, and swimming. There are a number of boat ramps along the shoreline, as well as one public beach.
