Tacoma Lakes consists of five connected ponds. From the south: Jimmy Pond, Buker Pond, Sand Pond, Woodbury Pond, Little Purgatory Pond. Located near the charming community of Litchfield, Maine, the Tahoma Lakes offer families many activities suitable for all ages. They're great for kayaking, waterskiing, swimming and fishing. These natural freshwater lakes contain multiple species of bass, trout, perch, and salmon.
Together they cover nine miles, the largest, Woodbury Pond, has a surface area of 435 acres. The maximum depth is 82 feet. A public boat ramp is available at Woodbury Pond.
