Located in the town of Goshen, Tyler Lake is natural in its origin, with a surface area of approximately 182 acres and a maximum depth of 23 feet. The southern shoreline of Tyler Lake is developed with numerous residential housing and the northern shoreline is more wetlands. A state owned boat launch allows access to the lake and it is located on the western shoreline. Fishers can come and reel in their prizes during the fishing season which begins on the third Saturday of April. Some species include bass, chain pickerel, black crappie, yellow perch, brown bullhead, and sunfish.
