Built in 1948, this cabin still maintains its "old Tahoe" charm. The knotty pine walls, hardwood floors and cabinetry are all original. This quaint cabin offers sleeping for 4. There is a Queen bed in the bedroom and the living room shuts off to offer a second sleeping area on the Queen sofa bed.
The living room has a rock fireplace with a log mantle, TV with cable, DVD, VCR, stereo with CD player, microsuede sofa sleeper, leather chair with ottoman.
The kitchen is equipped with gas range, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, espresso maker, blender, pots, pans, dishes, utensils. There is a bistro table with four chairs for kitchen dining and outside there is a charcoal BBQ, patio chairs and picnic table.
Relax and enjoy one of the quietest streets in Pineland. Sit on the porch and listen to Ward Creek or stroll around the block and walk along its shores.
This charming cabin is located approximately 2 miles south of Tahoe City on Tahoe’s Magical West Shore. A ½ mile walk will take you to Sunnyside Resort or the beach. Just down the street at the end of Ward is Kilner Park offering tennis, volleyball and a playground area. Easy access to the bike path and mountain biking/hiking trails in summer and a short drive to Alpine, Squaw Valley, and Homewood ski areas in winter.
