Loved all the amenities at the cabin. We had 14 teens who enjoyed the arcade and the pool, the hot tubs were locked though, loved and used the theater room for our lessons and late night movies. The kitchen was an amazing place for all to use, great appliances and utensils. Our view of the sunrise coming over the peak of the mountains was spectacular and the sunset on the opposing ridge was just as amazing. Only complaint, we have used Eden Crest twice and both times our alarm code that was sent to us via email didn't work. We have had to call. Other than that , we are very pleased and will use a Eden Crest again when the opportunity arises. Thank you for your assistance and our experience.

When we arrived to the house the alarm codes that were sent via the app was wrong. Therefore the alarm was sounding for a long time until finally we got the correct code. The bed layout was not as it says online. The bunk beds were not fully made and the trundle beds were unusable causing some of our group to not have beds!! We had to go get our own sheets from the office because there was none. The smoke alarm batteries were not working and beeping. We had to sleep in a house with no smoke detector on the third floor. Way unsafe!! The Tvs in some of the rooms would not work at all. The porch was so unsafe to walk on when the snow started we almost had several fall until someone finally got there with a salt mix. The house was nice and it had plenty of space, it was just one thing after another we had to deal with. Made it very stressful at the first part of the trip. The staff was very nice and did try to help with all issues that they could. I would suggest you not market those trundle beds as even possible sleeping spaces since in two rooms the beds are so close they will not and can not even pull out. This was very uncalled for!!

Thanksgiving was a "BLAST"

We had a ball. The children were really excited about all the amentities. All the adults were excited as well. My family and I try to celebrate every even year in the Smokies for Thanksgiving since 2012 and this by far was the best accomodations. Everyone is looking forward to 2018 in the SAME PLACE. We did have a few issues with the alarm and the TV's but it was very minor. We would to give a "shout out" to our maintenence man who was "Johnny on the spot" (cudoos to my sister's main man CAMERON). I would only recommend to a friend if we could have our spot same time in 2018. By the way, my family members drive to Knoxville from Memphis, Tn and Mississippi, and my sister flys in from Phoenix, Arizona. I would also like to take the time to thank those reservationists who were very kind and knowledgeable, especially Nikki or Nicole, THANKS. And last but not least, let's all say a prayer for those families who lost love ones during those terrible fires. AMEN.

The location or this cabin is very good and the view is absolutely breath taking. There were only towels and wash cloths for one day and we didn't have any extra trash can liners in the kitchen. The pool was only 77 degrees so we didn't use it. Looking at this cabin for our 2017 ladies retreat.

Great Stay, except for Front Desk lying to us, several times!!

We were so excited to stay in this Beautiful Cabin our whole family, and some were gonna go down to the smokies a day early and We were to arrive eraly Friday morning and I had called the front Desk a couple days ahead of time and ask what was the earliest we could get into our Cabin if no one had been in it the day before and at that time the lady was nice and said we could get into our cabin at 1pm, all I had to do is to call the morning of and get a door code, So I did just like the lady ask and ALL I got was RUDE Immature girls that give me the run around and even hung up on me. That started my weekend off at a bad start and I think that should not be, when you come to relax and enjoy yourself. When we came to get our door code, NONE of them would even look or speak to My daughter and I, VERY Disrespectful,,The cabin was nice, but the house keeping needed to sweep the floors and the windows was a mess,,very nice cabin,but for the price it could have been cleaner and the front desk could be NICER and more Mature.

Not totally ideal for 12 senior golfers that want their own bedroom and master bath. Pretty far from the golf courses. Too dark after golfing to experience a lot of the views. Stove, one hot tub did not work. This was out third time here. Have made reservations to go somewhere else next year. Did not take advantage of some of the amenities, i.e., pool, game room, theater room, etc.

Serenity Lodge - Great for large families with kids of all ages

We had a great time at the cabin. There were a few minor issues such as the game room refrigerator would not cool, the hot tubs wouldn't stay hot, and a breaker blew when we plugged in the phone charger. We reported the issues and a service technician was able to come out quickly to make the repairs. The only thing that would make it better was if the bunk beds were arranged differently so that the people sleeping in the bottom bunk could see the tv. And there were no batteries in the remotes, that would have been helpful to have batteries. :) We would still book this cabin and plan to again with in the next year.

Great Cabin for Big Group

The cabin is designed very well and the amenities are great! We had a fabulous time & will stay here again when we return to the Smokies. Our suggestions would be: The kitchen is nice but we cook often for our group of 23 and there' could be more bowls/containers for leftovers & some big preparation bowls. A few remotes have dead batteries & the tv in the upstairs master right of the stairs will loose sound & you have to disconnect the cables to the cable box. The bunk room closest to Smokey the bear is missing the handle on the inside of the door & the toilet in that room constantly runs. The carpets would benefit from a cleaning but they're not disgusting. Lastly, it would be nice & likely expected for the beds to be made instead of the linens folded in a pile underneath the comforters. A good spring cleaning would add to the wow factor.

The Logde was very nice dryer didn't work entire 3 days, fridge in game room didn't work which made it hard to keep food fresh. Coffee pots were not working. Didn't have all towels promised but we made due. Several small items were broken or just not there in kitchen can opener shape knifes. There were a few chars broken that needed to be replace.

Just Right for Our Family

Overall the place was great and provided my family with everything and more. The only negative would be the dryer took at minimum 3 hours to dry 2 pair of swimming trunks due to a lack of heat it put out and a few door handles kept coming off. Outside of that the cabin was exceptional.

Awesome Cabin

The Pool Lodge was the perfect place for our family of 40, including 13 children (ages 4-18). Having the pool and media room inside of the facilities made for a very pleasant trip with children. The cabin itself was fully supplied and functional for the adults: all dishes, towels, fridge/freezer space, everything was there for us. Everything worked in the cabin. The gas grills were not our favorite mode of grilling, but it worked for us. I'd requested a few items be pre-purchased and placed in cabin for us, which would have saved many trips to the local grocery store. But, I waited too late to place my request. This would have been worth it to me as organizer. We went into pigeon forge for some family fun on Saturday. Most were anxious to get back to the cabin and relax or hit the pool. The cabin provided all the fun and entertainment the family. Advertises that it can sleep 52. This is true if everyone plans to sleep with at least 1-2 other people. It slept our 40 people VERY comfortably. The children were very content. The adults were very comfortable. I absolutely loved this cabin and so did my family.

This cabin would be an absolute perfect vacation spot if it had a good 'spring cleaning' and the amenities were maintained. The mice droppings must be cleaned up between groups and the trash under seats in theater room. However, the maintenance person was wonderful with the few issues we had.

Great Cabin for Youth Retreat

This was the 2nd time we've used this cabin for our youth retreat. The amenities are perfect for such an event. The only downside was that we had no washer and dryer due to it being broken. The kitchen was not well-equipped either to cook for such a number. Only one of the two griddles worked. Limited cooking utensils (several of the spatulas were melted and warped), one of the only two large frying pans had been warped from overheating and wouldn't even lay flat on the range. We saw mice on three occasions in the kitchen and ran under the stove. It would be nice, after spending over $2,000 for just two nights, to have a quality equipped kitchen. One last thought. The process that Eden Crest uses for access to their properties is more complicated than needed (downloading apps, emails, not giving out physical address of location, etc). Instead of one simple email, there were multiple and even an app that you had to download (didn't download the app until I set the house alarm off at 11:45pm trying to find the alarm code). Seems that all of this could have simple been emailed to me. Did not care for the Eden Crest way of handling this property.

We had a fantastic time. The facility more than exceeded our expectations. The views from the deck are breath taking. Plenty to keep the younger kids busy and happy, but spacious enough to allow the adults well deserved time and space to themselves! Family traveled from 4 states and ranged in ages from 2 to 87, everyone had a good time. People were friendly and helpful, checking in with us to make sure everything was as was! Wonderful facility!

FAMILY REUNION

Enjoyed our stay but there were a few minor problems. Large family reunion with no washer was somewhat of an inconvenience. We requested additional towels and they were brought to us. The theatre room was not working and that was a problem as we had several children that were looking forward to watching movies. Thank goodness the weather was nice and they could do other things. This was our third time staying in this cabin and the pool is normally very nice but the temperature of the water was quite chilly. Again we just made use of the hot tub. A couple of the arcade games were not working but that has been the case in all our visits. Overall we had a nice visit and would consider booking with Eden Crest again.

Possibly the most incredible view of the Smokeys. I brought a group of 26 students and 16 adults to stay in the lodge. Everyone was impressed with the facilities. The kids enjoyed the game room and movie theatre. Students were always busy and never bored. The adults loved the view and high end accommodations. 5 main bedrooms upstairs were very spacious. Bunk rooms fairly crowded with 8-10 people but the overall experience was worth the tradeoff. We didn't have quite enough towels and there was difficulty getting extra towels. I would bring extra towels next time. Washer and dryer did not work. The breaker flipped off during breakfast while using multiple appliances and that was never corrected. Parking could have been a problem. We were not warned in advance of the limited parking. It was somewhat frustrating that with check not being until 4:00 you can?t get a lot of maintenance and housekeeping support in the evening. I thought the bunks with queens but they were only full size. Everything was very clean. Was pleased to find the propane was provided. It is not very far from numerous attractions. Still a very positive experience.

Family Reunion

The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, clean and everything was in good working order,except for the oven which needs the heating element replaced. Our entire group enjoyed our stay and we plan on using this cabin again!

Don't Be Fooled By The Pictures

This home has so much potential but the property management company is the absolute worst. I booked this home for a Women's Retreat that I hosted in November. I made several phone calls to my Reservation Specialist to ensure that the home was clean and to my standards and that we had all the items we needed to make the weekend a success. From the time we entered into the property we had issues with slow response. We had slated to use the grill however; there was no propane for the grill. We contacted maintenance and they were slow to bring a replacement tank arrived the next day around 10 am. The home was not clean, the showers were dirty, the shower curtains were torn and the carpet was not clean. We were not able to use the theatre room, because the remote for the Apple TV was missing and they could not replace it. We chose this home based on this amenity. You can imagine our displeasure. We had technical issues with other devices as well with electricity going out in the kitchen. There was a bathroom in one of the bunkrooms to clog up again maintenance was slow to respond. My guests became accustomed to the presence of the property maintenance. Eventually we contacted the property manager. We tried to receive compensation for the multiple issues and the property manager agreed as he knew that our stay was far from serene. He promised to contact us to make right all the wrongs after our stay, but once we left the property he would no longer return our calls. The home has such potential, but it is only as good as the property management company that maintains it. I waited to provide a review in January from our stay in November as I wanted to give the property manager the opportunity to call me back, but that has yet to happen. I advise anyone to not rent any property from Eden Crest. This is not a place of Serenity, but it is a major HEADACHE.

A technician, as well sending a Manager, tried to help you connect all your devices up to the TV's which found you did not have all the proper connectors for your devises. We do not provide the connections you may need to connect your devise to the TV's. As a group leader, you should've been well prepared for any kind of situation that may occur for the presentations you had to deliver. The power in the kitchen was due to overload since you had several heating devises on the circuit causing the breaker to trip. Unfortunately, we cannot find any recordings of you calling to share concerns about the cleanliness of the cabin nor do we show any work order requests for cleaners to return. Had you said anything about your concerns during your stay we would have gladly sent the cleaners back to address them. While we are human and none of us are perfect our efforts were sincere and hope that you will accept our sincere apology in the spirit in which it is given.

Serenity Mountain Pool Lodge is truly a remarkable cabin. I searched for a long time for the cabin that would be the best fit for the 27 family members to be able to stay under one roof without feeling crowded. Also, we wanted a cabin that we would not go stir crazy in, in case of bad weather. Between the arcade. theater room, indoor pool, hot tubs, and big screens, the younger ones could not have enjoyed themselves more! The cabin is laid out great for sleeping, as well as eating, and the view is unbeatable! I could not find another cabin with sit down ding for 36 people all in the sam basic area. Our vacation/reunion was a wonderful success, and we would love to use this cabin in the future. The only negatives I would say about this cabin is that even with all that it offers, the price seems somewhat high, comparatively, and the absence of closets in any of the bedrooms. Otherwise, this is a cabin that you don't want to miss, if staying with a large group in the Smokies.

Paid for a home with all the extra amenities & didn't get what I paid for!!!!!! BUT they did give me back $50?!?!?!? Really $50????? When I paid a lot more. Thanks for reimbursing me for the ice we had to buy since the freezer was broken. Paid for a house w a movie theatre & that was broken not to mention the air conditioning was broken in the theatre so it was 88 degrees. The fridge ice maker was broken. In the middle of dinner the grill ran out of gas. We had planned on using the Apple TV but guess what that was broken too! On Saturday the pool alarm wouldn't stop going off so the maintance man had to come & fix the alarm. Yes Eden crest said they did all they could cause they had a maintance man there all weekend (which he was there all weekend and was nice but who want to watch a maintance man on your vacation all weekend?!?!?!? As we were leaving the last day the fridge downtowns was leaking water all over the floor. I understand things go wrong but the manager said he knew the theatre room wasn't working before we arrived. Maybe he should have made us aware or worked harder to insure it was fixed before we arrived. So we could have saved ALOT of money of we would have just rented a cabin without all the amenities since most of the things were broken anyways. I felt like offering $50 back was more of an insult!!!!

This was a very nice cabin. Great location with spectacular views. We are going to make this an annual retreat. The only issue we had was the two coffee makers did not work. Possible hardwater build up?

Hanna/Shawley Family Reunion

The place is gorgeous and worked out great for my family. Memories were created that will last a lifetime. The kids loved the arcade, the pool, hottubs and the theater room (when it worked). We did have a few challenges --1) We had cold showers the day after arrival and the theater room TV would not work. Called it in, the repairman came, replaced the element etc. What concerns me is he proceeded to tell us that he was there last week and knew he had have to come back. Why didn't he just fix it the first time, instead we were inconvenienced. 2)We also asked if he fixed the TV and he explained we just need to point the remote to the box in the wall. We used it for DVD and PS4 but when we went to watch football Saturday, still no TV. Another man came out, determined the box was bad. Also - the website says there is Apple TV but there is no Apple remote. 3) the vents throughout the house are very visibly dirty 4)The towels are terrible (not sure why anyone would take one and pay $25) 5) Very little soundproofing 6) a lot of spots on the carpets 7) Some of the cookware felt very greasy 8) Lightbulbs out in ceiling fans 9) Need more light over the tall tables in the living room for dining. 10) The microwave on the right in the kitchen doesn't work and the oven is hard to figure out. Lastly, I would recommend a quick reference guide to be left in the house, most rental properties have such a thing. It would include FAQ about the house, departure process, how to turn fireplaces on/off etc. it could also include recommendations of restaurants etc.Please know we loved our stay, but when I put these "concerns" in writing it makes we wonder about value for price paid.

End of Summer Getaway

It was fantastic outside of the small things. The cabin was absolutely beautiful!We did have an issue with hot water, the microwave in the kitchen stopped working the very first day we were there. We had a lot of trash so we poured bleach on it to keep the bears out as they had gotten into it the night before by tearing the door completely off the receptacle. My understanding was that the people who picked up the trash were not happy that we poured bleach on it. Can we say deterrent (bleach)? The refrigerator downstairs was not working but that was quickly resolved. The iron the cabin provided did not work but that was also resolved. Overall, I was completely happy with my stay outside of the few small glitches.

Beautiful Place, but horrible maintenance!!!

This is a very beautiful and spacious cabin. There were tons of maintenance issues starting with dirty and clogged toilets. The pool was so cloudy we were afraid to swim in it and there are two hot tubs that the actual hot one the jets didn't work and the other one the jets worked, but water was cold. The carpet was disgusting. The games in the game room three quarters of didn't work and some would not turn on at all.Don't get me wrong it is a very nice place, but had tons of issues. The artificial plants were so dusty they look gray and if you would bump them you had a dust cloud in your face!!! The management would only offer us a fifty dollar gift certificate for a future stay!!!! We said for them to keep it because we would not stay with them again. Several times through each year our family loves to get away and all stay together, but looks like we are going to be looking for a new company to rent from!!!!!!

Upon check in, we indicate that we spoke to you about the pool issue stating that the pool pump was changed prior to check in and that the pool may seem a little cloudy as the chemicals are now circulating through the pool from the new pump that was installed. The arcade games are at times turned off to conserve energy. Unfortunately I do not show any service requests for the other issues of concern. It is unfortunate that you did not mention anything to us while you were in town so that we could send our maintenance to address any concerns. We are human and can make mistakes but hope that you will accept our apology and consider staying with us again in the future.

House wonderful as far as size, pool, game and theater rooms. Lots of light bulbs out. No hot water two days straight but they came quickly to repair. House was warm and unable to adjust to make cooler. No pantry or place to store groceries. Or cosseted to hang clothes.

Very nice cabin, ok service

Overall our stay was great. The cabin is very nice, well maintained, and had all the amenities we wanted. We absolutely loved the property itself. The management company on the other hand was not the easiest to deal with. They make you sign loads of paperwork just to reserve the place and were not that accomodating when I wanted to make changes. I felt like if they were going to go to such great lengths to protect themselves legally, I had the same right to expect the legal paperwork to include protections for me. But that didn't go over too well. Also when I tried to call before my reservation date to schedule a time to view the cabin, they were not helpful at all and basically didn't have anyone who could let me in to see the cabin except for certain small windows of time only one or two days a week, and they were not willing to try to work outside these times at all for me to view the cabin in advance. They also refuse to send anyone to fix anything at night unless it's an absolute emergency. While I understand this policy generally, it just doesn't make sense for a large cabin like this where you pay over a thousand a night for certain amenities like a pool or a home theatre. If these are not working properly, regardless of the time, it seems like they should have someone on call who can at least help you troubleshoot or something. Other than that, had a great stay. Would definitely stay there again.

We only allow guest viewing on 2 days during the week at which times we have the personnel to show you the cabin. We only do emergency calls after hours because of the cost. The office people made my stay ****,we had so many problems and no one was accommodating in any way.I am contacting the Better Business Bureau and The Attorney General. And the Community Counsel and I am Social Media ,So everyone will know about the **** vacation.

First of all, we are all very sorry for the issues you feel you had during your stay with us. We take each guest visit very seriously and when we are aware of an issue we are very quick to address it. In checking my records I am not finding where you notified us of your complaints relate to amenities not being present. I also checked the directions and they will take you right to the front door. You called in an ice makes not working but when we visited the cabin we confirmed it was working just fine. You called in a TV not working but when we visited the cabin we confirmed you were on the wrong input channel. You called in the theater not working but when we visited the cabin we confirmed the audio jacks on the back of the TV had been unhooked. This TV was confirmed working fine by our inspection team prior to your visit. You called in the pool lights not coming on but when we visited the cabin we confirmed they were working we just had to show you the light switch to turn them on. You called the projector in as not working but we confirmed that the RCA jacks had been moved causing it to malfunction, again this was confirmed working by our inspector prior to your check in. We did pick up trash for you and also refilled your hot tub which was low on water due to heavy usage. I am not sure what caused your vacation to be torturous. After listening to the recorded phone calls between you and the staff here at Eden Crest it is evident that everyone was very courteous to you never treating you rudely. We take great pride in our customer service skills and work diligently to insure our staff is receiving ongoing training to keep their customer service skills sharp. I do not see where a refund is due but do offer apologies for your feelings of ill will.

We had a lot of issues with this house. Pool alarm about drove us crazy. We called and did everything we were told to do, but could not get it to stop alarming. Could not figure out the movie room electronics, very complicated with minimal instructions. Half of the arcade games in the gameroom did not work. Hot tubs were in bad condition. Water was not warm, cloudy, and the jets barely worked. Had to call maintenance about air condtioning as soon as we got there. Not enough tableware, glasses, etc for the amount of people it will sleep. House was not cleaned good. Had tape from previsous renters still stuck on banister, tabletops were smeared with something, and footprints were under the tables, which indicated they had not been mopped. If I had called about everything we encountered I would have made many, many calls. Upstairs bedrooms were too hot to sleep in comfortably. I hate to have so much bad to say, but its the truth. Best part was the view, but we enjoyed it from the inside. The decks felt too insecure and wobbly. Just very disappointed in this rental. Would not stay here again. I definately did not get what I paid for. My whole family was let down.

In the future we would respectfully request that you let us know so that we can have the opportunity to immediately address it. We have also let the owner of the cabin know of your concerns about the many electronic devises in the theater room.
