The cabin holds 6, it was near impossible to fry eggs and other things for my family with the small frying pans there, also it was a bit dangerous because the biggest frying pans handle was about to fall off. that was challenging as we stayed and ate all 3 meals there. We simply couldnt pull ourselves away from the cabin it was so beautiful and peaceful. Our stay was wonderful. thank you. We just did not feel the cabin was in the best condition. On the top deck there were railing issues that were not safe. There Tina I. from Floyds Knobs, IN does not recommend this property. The staff was wonderful, and we loved the view. We will be coming back to the mountains each year, and perhaps back to Brother's Cove, but we will have to really look at the cabins better this time around, if we come back. Thank You. This was our second year in a row renting a cabin in Brother's Cove through AMR, and we will be back next year. The cabins are first class, far better than any hotel could hope to be. The views are beyond words. I can not say enough about how wonderful a time we have had vacationing here for the past two years. I highly recommend this for a family vacation or romantic getaway. I took my family including my parents from India who had never stayed in a log cabin before. The cabin really exceeded everybody's expectations. We were there for just two nights, we would have loved to spend more time.Please check the light in the living room below the fan. The bulb needs to be replaced. The hot tub was so relaxing. It had a beautiful view of the mountain, it made me never want to leave. I loved the cabin, it was also very clean and had everything you needed if you wanted to cook or barbecue. I would definitely rent this cabin again. The condition of this cabin was by far the poorest of any we have stayed in. Each cabin used to have a notebook of instructions for guests. This one had none. General condition of window screens, blinds, etc. was less than good. The blinds in the windows are filthy. The door to the maintenance under the cabin was off and laying on the ground; an open invitation for wildlife to enter. some of the deck railing was loose and in need of repair. There is a noticeable decline in the cabins and area since American Cabin Rentals took over. Coming from Ohio it was a breath of fresh air. Very relaxing! We plan on staying here again next year. The only thing we would all do different is stay more at the cabin and enjoy the relaxing view. The weather was awesome! We now know not to go into Pigeon Forge or Gattlinburg on the weekend.....way too much traffic! The cabin was very very nice and clean. Everything we would need was available. A great time! Might even bring my husband another time for just the two of us to enjoy! Sometimes change is not good..... A guest from Versailles, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2010 I have been staying at brothers Cove since 2005. I come at least once or twice a year. I have referred many friends to this resort. In the past year since American Mountain became the managing entity I have been there three times. With each successive visit the servivce has changed and not for the better - while prices continue to climb. This is the first time I've stayed on the top of the mountain - when I first started coming they weren't even built yet - and this cabin was not near as secluded as the older cabins. You could see your neighbors from your deck. There are not as many amenities - like coffee and filters and free firewood for your first night. Also the rental office location is awful. You have to go past your light into Pigeon Forge - TRAFFIC - in order to check in unlike in the past when you checked in at the Brothers Cove Office. I am not sure I would stay in this resort again and I'm sure I would never stay that far up where they have slammed too many cabins in for it to feel secluded. I'm also not sure I will continue to recomend this place to my friends. Sometimes change is necessary but to increase the prices - even the old ones are more expensive this year - while decreasing the amenities and convenience - is not necessarily a good thing if you want repeat customers. I talked to some friends at work that had rented a cabin in Brothers Cove and they couldn't say enough about the quality of the cabins and above all the view. I canceled the resort, booked Bucks Lookout cabin and my wife and I really didn't need to leave the cabin unless we wanted to. The cabin was close enough to town, but not too close. We enjoyed the quiet and the peaceful atmosphere of the area. We will return for another stay in the near future and hopefully we'll be able to reserve another wonderful cabin in Brothers Cove.
