Magnolia Blue Heather Cottage Stephen D. from Kerrville, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in October, 2011 We chose the Magnolia Blue Heather Cottage because it was just a short distance from our daughter's home in Magnolia. We made the right choice - convenient location (to our daughter's home, downtown area of Magnolia, and the Pike Place Market). The kitchen was well furnished with utensils, the furniture was in excellent shape, and the entertainmnet center was great. It appeared that a new washer and dryer, water heater, and heater had been recently installed. The house was spotless when we arrived and we tried to leave the house as we found it. The property management company was so good in working with us to accomodate the dates that we chose to stay in the house. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and we hope to be able to rent the Magnolia Blue Cottage in the future. |

Blue Gem in Magnolia A guest from Los Altos, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2011 Very nice, well-maintained, cozy property on the edge of Magnolia village. We had a lovely time in the house and the neighborhood. A real home away from home. Some minor issues: The access code had not been re-set properly so we had to contact the management company, and wait for them to get back to us after hours on a weekend. The house had a bewildering, complete lack of dish towels and only bright white bath and hand towels-- not the best for kitchen use. Look out for the hard edge on the bedframe in the master bedroom if you get up during the night. From the info notebook for guests in the house, the owners appear to be clean freaks. This is good if you like a very clean house and are willing to treat it well. If you want a place to mess up and party loudly, you'd best look elsewhere. Someone needs to explain the Seattle trash and recycling rules for those of us who don't live there. The printed guidelines from the trash company in the house notebook are hard to figure out, especially where food, food containers, and things like paper towels and tissues are concerned. All this is minor compared to the general wonderfulness of the house and setting. |

Cottage Get-Away A guest from Lewiston, ID does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2011 Small cottage within walking distance of Magnolia's shops, bars, restaurants and good driving distance to downtown Seattle. Fenced backyard is great for children and the updated older home is very clean and convenient. Adding an extra towel rack or hooks in the small bathroom is needed. Otherwise, renters are hanging wet towels in the closets. Awkward living room arrangement for watching TV. You might mount the TV on the wall and free up some space. |

Seattle Suburbia A guest from Burlingame, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2011 Stayed for a week in August. Beautiful weather and location in residential area with easy access to Seattle Center and downtown. Grocery store, public heated pool, playground 3 blks away. Discovery Park (trails, lighthouse, beach), fish ladder and Chittendam Locks within jogging distance. SeaTac 20 minutes drive. Stocked with maps, guidebooks, 100's cable channels, DVD (request DVDs from Sea to Sky), BBQ, airconditioner, washer/dryer, gourmet sugar and spice supply. Neighbor house on sale had very loud party on Friday til late. Nightly sprinkler system clangs twice loudly under floorboards like a head on car accident--startling if not expected, but once we figured out what it was, not that bad. Glass stovetop had burned residue and fridge was missing one lower glass shelf. Plusses definitely outweighed negatives. Felt like a home away from home. |

Great stay, with only one negative Laura Y. from Chicago, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2011 Magnolia cottage is an adorable, clean property. The location is great as you can walk to anything you need. The only negative is the master bedroom's air conditioning situation. It is a window box that constantly blows out strong air (even at the lowest fan setting). The air that came out of it was musty smelling and my husband & I both became very congested after the first night. The other a/c unit for the house was much better and because the weekend was relatively cool, we were able to keep our window unit off and sleep with the door open to get air from the front. It was better, but our allergies were still affected. Overall, it is a great place. If one of your guests has bad allergies, I'd think twice about this property, or at least have them stay in the second bedroom. Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky Thank you for your comments and I'm sorry you had issue with the air conditioner in the bedroom. We will look into the matter since the air conditioner is less than a year old- installed brand new last year. We are glad you enjoyed your stay overall. The Magnolia Blue Heather Cottage is a gem of a house in a gorgeous neighborhood! Keep in mind our 5% Return Guest Discount which can be applied to all future stays at any of our 36 Seattle properties. |

Perfect For Our Family Colleen C. from Shakopee, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2011 I would highly recommend the Magnolia Blue Heather Cottage! My husband and I took our two children (ages 18 and 22) and our son's girlfriend and this property was just perfect for our family! The property is tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved the location, just a few minutes from downtown Seattle yet far enough away from the city when you needed to get away. Magnolia is a quaint community and downtown is just a short walk away. Our first night in Seattle we stayed in a downtown hotel which was very nice; however, the rental of the Magnolia Blue Heather Cottage was roughly the same cost per night and we had all the conveniences of home. It was so nice to have a "home" to come back to rather than a hotel room each night. So very nice to have a washer/dryer to keep the laundry clean as well. Thanks for an amazing stay. We are scheduling our next trip around the availability of this property...we loved it! |

Great Month at Magnolia Blue Heather Cottage Mari D. from The Woodlands, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 30 days in July, 2011 We loved this house! Our goal was to escape the July Texas heat, relax, and reconnect as a family by leaving our busy schedules behind. We were not disappointed. Everything we wanted to do was just a quick walk away; we will most definitely rent this house again. |

Stayed for 2 days in June, 2011 We absolutely loved the Magnolia Cottage!! It was perfect for the 4 of us! Clean, lovely decor, wonderful location, terrific backyard with a little patio area! The only suggestion i would make is to replace the master bedroom bed; it sags and was not comfortable for our backs. Thanks |

This charming cottage in a quiet neighborhood provided the perfect respite from the busy city (especially if you're not use to a Karine N. from Hayden, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2011 You can enjoy coffee on the front patio while walkers, joggers, etc. occasionally pass by or you can retreat to the serenity of the private back yard. This cozy cottage is very nicely decorated and was a welcome haven for our family during our stay. Great place to stay! Note to the owners and management: 1) Could use 2 or 3 more pots and pans. There was no non-stick frying pan or griddle large enough for cooking more than one pancake or slice of french toast at a time. 2) Cooking/baking utensils (measuring cups, etc.) were a very bare minimum. 3) Need more hooks for bath towels. With 4 people staying in the cottage and only one towel rack, we had to be pretty creative. Perhaps a double hook on the back of each bedroom door for hanging towels? 4) The master bedroom bed, while comfortable, squeaks/creaks loudly EVERY time someone moves, rolls over or gets out of/into bed, ugh. (We are average to below average-size people) 5) It would be great to have 2 or 3 more detailed maps of Seattle and surrounding areas. 6) Info for bus schedules & routes would also be helpful. 7) I searched for phone books and did not find any. On our last day they were discovered in the cabinet above the washer on the shelf above the laundry detergent. Seriously? This is NOT where people are going to look for them. 8)It would have been helpful to have more specific directions to Albertson's in the info binder provided. 10)As an owner of a house cleaning business that services a couple of vacation rentals, I do hope that your cleaners are compensated well for their performance. Jennifer left the home dust-free and spotless for us. :) |

Great Place!.....bad bed. Holly G. from Calgary, Alberta recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in April, 2011 We absolutely loved this house, it was perfect for our family and can't wait to go back. There was lots of space for our kids, they LOVED the bunk beds and ran around in the back yard. The kitchen was fully stocked with good quality items and a great spice rack. The laundry facilities were perfect. The only issue we had was with the bed in the master bedroom, it must be very old, was SO loud and squeaky (woke up our 3 month old in the pack and play every time we got in and out). They definitely need a new bed but the place was amazing. |

Stayed for 6 days in April, 2011 This was a great property and location for our family of 4. We spent 6 nights and were so glad to have all the comforts of home: separate bedrooms, cozy living room, flat screen TV, well equipped kitchen and a small front yard where the kids could juggle their soccer ball! Took some nice runs along Magnolia Blvd with Puget Sound in the background. We would stay here again! |

Magnolia Blue Heather Cottage Rosalie M. from Stonington, CT recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2011 We had a very nice stay at this property. It suited our purposes perfectly. It was nicely appointed and thoughtfully stocked with necessities. The agents were remarkably helpful and the door lock combination made it very easy to go in and out. It was bright inside...even with all that Seattle rain. |

Why I have to pay extra money? Kyung hwan m. from Acampo, california does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2010 We had stayed 3 days in Nov. They don't have BBQ unit, we want to use that they didnot allow that. And after few days they charged extra money which cleanning fee. I don't agree them. They already charged a lot when I had paid at first time. They just said extra time when their staff were cleanning. Is it true? I have never seen this situation. Why you charged first time? I can strongly say, this is not good. their after service is the worst. Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky We are sorry that you don't agree with our fees. Unfortunately, your group did not follow the few guidelines that we have, some of which exist in order to be compliant with the City of Seattle and the garbage and recycling laws. Upon your departure, the kitchen was left in unsatisfactory condition with garbage and recylcing mixed together and overflowing the receptacles, cooked food left in oven and upon the stove top, and perishable foods left, uncovered, in the refrigerator. Please understand that we value the business of responsible groups who will respect our properties so we can provide the best accommodations possible to the next traveling group. Thank you for your comments. |

Great location Kathleen Y. from Brewster, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in October, 2010 We stayed for 8 days in October. The house was perfect for our family and conveniently located next to everything we needed. Our 19 month old was so happy to play in the beautiful back yard! Our only complaint would be the 18mo-3 yr toy box was lacking some basic toys for our 19 month old boy. Maybe investing in some legos, a ball or some more trucks would make it a better value. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sea to Sky Rentals. It was a perfect vacation house! |

Paul K. from Cross Plains, WI recommends this property.
Stayed for 6 days in September, 2010 At 1 am , about every other night, we were awaken by a loud "clunk" and water running. It lasted for about 45 min.when there was another loud "clunk" Was this a water. softener? Is it necessary that often? In the middle of the night? Otherwise, everything was very good! Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky We are happy that you enjoyed your stay at the Magnolia Cottage! The home is a beautifully furnished cottage in a wonderful neighborhood. We are sorry to hear that you were awaken by what sounds like a loud plumbing issue. Since we did not hear from you during your stay, we were unable to address the matter while you were here. We have since investigated the issue and realized this was the automatic sprinkler system, which has been shut down until next summer. We will ensure that it comes on next year at a more reasonable time. |

The well located but much to be desired house A guest from Minneapolis, MN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2010 This is well located in a charming neighborhood. The house however was not clean (we killed 4 giant spiders the first two days). The $75 kid package is a waste of money. If a broken Costco umbrella stroller, a high chair no child could sit in and a box of broken mismatched toys is considered a help to a family renting, the owners must have never had children. The top bunk was not even safe for a child to sleep in. No views and the house next door looked as if it was in foreclosure. It does have a nice yard, but not much useable furniture to enjoy it. Property Manager Response: Response from Sea To Sky Thank you for your comments. We take great pride in providing clean, family friendly properties and packages so your report is very disappointing. We are available to guests at any point of their stay so please keep this in mind and contact us immediately if you find unsatisfactory conditions. We would have immediately replaced any of the Baby Gear items if they were not in proper order. The bunk bed is a quality piece of furniture, both safe and stable. We have over thirty properties in Seattle and offer a 5% Returning Guest Discount so please keep us in mind for your future travel needs. |

The Best Rental Ever! Kristin P. from Queen Creek, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in July, 2010 This was our third year renting a house in Seattle for the Summer, and this property was by far the best. The location of Magnolia is perfect..right by the water, and downtown, yet safe and secluded. We loved it and hope to stay there each year! |

Stayed for 4 days in June, 2010 The house was very nice and clean with a pretty backyard. The only problem was the rental airbed. The first one lost all air w/in an hour or so, and the second one still lost a lot of air every night, so that it was very soft. Other than that, it was a great place to stay! |
