Enjoy pampered comfort, style, & convenience. Your large group stays together with private offstreet parking for 4 cars plus plentiful onstreet parking,non-metered. Walking distance to everything as the Estate is within the Landmark Historic District. Surrounded by the River to the south, Forsyth Park to the north, Famous Savannah Squares and all of downtowns' shops, museums, parks, and restaurants. Originally built in 1870, we lovingly restored the Estate in 2001. Both the 3 story, 2300 sqft Manor, and its 2 story, 1200 sq ft, self-standing Carriage House (renamed Taylor Cottage). Each home is complete with fully stocked Kitchens, Living Rooms, Laundry Rooms, Dining Areas, Furnished Courtyards etc. All six bedrooms feature a themed decor that is reminiscent of the 1870 time-period of the homes. The Courtyards of both are interconnected by the roomy 4 car Driveway that is in the rear of the Manor and adjacent to the Cottage. The outdoor Hot Tub on the Deck of the Manor is luxury indeed as you enjoy Savannah nights surrounded by its twinkle lights and privacy screen. The Hot Tub overlooks the Manor Courtyard and is an "optional" amenity requiring an additional charge is its use is desired. Well Worth it!! Within the 3 story, 4BR/2.5 Ba Manor you'll find a "Cooks Kitchen" -spacious and fully stocked. Two decorative marble fireplaces and 2 brick decorative fireplaces, heart-pine flooring, soaring ceilings, superb bedding, soft,fluffy towels, quality linens and all the modern day amenities you need in the 21st century are throughout th homes. Ceiling fans are in every living area/bedroom. The Estate features Central AC heat /WiFi access/Cable/ Nintendo Game Cube & Games/ Board Games and Video-Book library. Relax outside in the furnished Courtyards surrounded by foliage and flowers and grill burgers on the outdoor grills provided. The open floorplan gives guests privacy while still allowing large groups of people to mingle and merge easily between the rooms. Claw tub and jetted tubs are in the bathrooms. Soft leather furnishings. Quiet residential Street in landmark historic district is shaded by trees with Beasely park and its large grassy areas/fenced dog-run/baseball diamond/jogging track and playground across from Broad Street. Two trolley tour companies will pick up your large group at the door of the Manor (make private arrangements w/24 hr advance notice).Pet/ dog friendly. Non-smoking interiors.(Smoking allowed on outside patios only). Cottage is completely Senior-friendly and Handicap accessable. Master Bedroom in Manor has a private balcony, along with attached bath with jetted tub, walk-in closet and Renaissance Decor. Handsome furnishings throughout both homes mix Old World ambiance with modern-day convenience. Builders will appreciate the use of craftsman-style technique in the Cottage and the Manor kitchen counter made of >400 year old wood beams. A car is purely optional as you can walk to everything within the landmark historic district. (A car/taxi is needed to get to/from airport and Tybee Beach is a short 20min drive.)
Perfect location to house your family on vacation or your wedding party/guests for a Destination Wedding.
Groups up to 10 persons may wish to rent only the Manor. Groups with six or fewer persons may rent the Carriage-House/Cottage only.
Or, Groups of 6 who want the privacy of their own bedrooms can rent the entire Estate. The Taylor Estate is the supreme alternative to a stuffy 400 sq ft hotel room and the best way to truly reconnect and relax with family and friends from near and far while getting a true taste of what Southern Living is all about.

Regarding International reservations: They require 50% deposit at booking (Non-refundable) & all payments by credit card only (No money orders, No Cashiers Checks, No personal checks).
Regarding all reservations: VISA, MC, AMEX, DISCOVER accepted.
Separate Security/Damage Deposit required which is refundable. Separate pet fee required ($50.00 per pet) and preapproval of breed/age required.
Regarding Domestic reservations: They require one nights accommodation to book (Nonrefundable) w/balance due 30 days before arrival. Longer stays may have larger booking fees applied. Credit Cards/personal checks accepted. No Cashiers Checks or Money Orders.

Lighthouses, Railroad cars, Kayaking/Parasailing/Dolphin Tours. Street Fairs and fireworks on River Street throughout the spring/summer/fall with street car. Forsyth Park Festivals almost every weekend during the warmer months.
Outside of historic district...Lasertag/rollerskating/Aquatic Center/traditional modern movie theatres and malls.

To book requires nonrefundable deposit of one nights accommodation with domestic reservations and 50% of rental amt with international reservations. Balances due 30 days prior to check-in.
12% occupancy room taxes and 400.00 one-time-cleaning fee for Estate, (less for Manor-only or Cottage-only rentals)not included in above rates.
Carriage House/Cottage and Manor available to rent separately.
CH sleeps up to six with 2 Queen BR's plus Daybed & Trundle.
Manor sleeps up to ten with 3 Queen BR's plus Attic BR w/full & 2 twins.
Estate combines CH and Manor which are adjoined by the spacious driveway with CH on western edge and Manor on southern edge. Meandering between the arbor Manor courtyard entrance and the delightful rear entry/courtyard of Cottage/CH takes only steps. Yet the foliage and angled position of the two still allow each privacy when desired.
CH/Cottage is handicap-accessible and Senior Friendly.
Estate is hypoallergenic with wood floors, leather furnishings, marble and stone/tile flooring.

Policies: Estate (Manor and/or Carriage House) and its driveway and Courtyards are not to be used for parties or receptions but are for Residential Use Only. Rental of Estate for residential use by guests/families of brides/grooms and/or residential use by the wedding party itself is frequently done. Wedding & Reception Hall use is not allowed in Estate.
Requested use of Estate FOR THE ACTUAL CEREMONY AND RECEPTION are allowed for specific "Destination Wedding and Elopement Bookings and require hire of our associated wedding planner...Becky and James Bijois of An Affair to Remember...to ensure monitored/controlled use of all premises for day of ceremony. -RESTRICTIONS APPLY.
