The Playa del Sol Grand, located on Flamingos Beach, Nuevo Vallarta, is a new five-star, full service resort offers world class sun, sand and surf in a tranquil atmosphere just 15 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.

The resort is located on fabulous Flamingos Beach, the most exciting new upscale resort area on the Bay of Banderas. The soft sandy beach descends gradually into warm waters. Dolphins are a common sight and the spectacular humpback whales return to the Bay where they can often be seen jumping or breaching within view of the resort each winter from December through March.

Enjoy the enormous infinity pool with swim-up bar that borders the beach. The resort's nearly 450 feet of beach frontage offers palapas and lounge chairs on the sand where you will be served the food and beverages of your choice as you watch the waves roll in from the Pacific.

We have a two 2-bedroom suites available for Christmas 2009. Check-in Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009. Check-out Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009. Each of the 2-bedroom suites has two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and a private bathroom. The suites have a full-sized kitchen and living area with a queen-size sleeper sofa, and a balcony. It sleeps up to 6 adults per suite, so a total of 12 adults can stay if you get both 2-bedroom suites.

These suites can also be split up for smaller groups into 1-bedroom suites (that will sleep up to 4 adults) and studios for 2 adults.

You can check-in/out anytime during the week, but you still pay for the full week, 7 nights.


These rates are at least 15% lower than you can get off of Playa del Sol's website, and at this point, they are sold out of the suites for Christmas week.
