Stayed for 3 days in August, 2011 The house was in a great location, except for the Sandcastle parking lot only 3 feet away! the parking lot lights and the car alarms were a bit annoying. A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2011 Overall a fine beach rental house. Not a very good assortment of pans and cooking tools if you want to cook at the house you will have to be creative t make things work. We could not find a sheet pan or a big pan to boil water for pasta. One of the beds had sand burrs on the comforter - there are loads of sand burrs outside. The house is not built up very high like other houses on the island, so parking under the house is tight. We were able to park one small SUV pointed into the space and one larger SUV in the street parking space. Nice bath towels and plenty of them. The house is a very easy walk to the beach on a boardwalk through the dunes. There is not a good patio or outside area at this house. Overall a good beach house especially for families with kids. The layout is perfect for 2 families - 2 rooms with queen beds for the adults and 2 rooms with 2 twins each for the kids.
