This four bedroom three bath townhouse sleeps 10 and is a short five minute walk to the beach. The main level contains tile floors throughout the living room, kitchen and master bedroom suite. The Master bedroom has a queen bed and there is a full bath on this level.The kitchen is complete with granite countertops, extra cabinetry, cold water filter and everything you will need to cook your catch of the day. The upper level contains a second living room, three bedrooms, two full baths, and the laundry room. Two of the bedrooms upstairs have queen beds and the other has two twins. The upstairs living area also has a queen size sleeper sofa. There are three flat screen TV's in this unit including a 46 inch in the downstairs livingroom and two DVD players. All the beds have a 4 inch memory foam mattress topper for your comfort. The unit is not pet friendly and smoking is permitted outside only. There is a charcoal BBQ grill on the back patio area. Was lacking in some basic amenities during our stay, (can-opener, cutting board, grater). Also, the evening of check-in needed to go get a mop to clean the floors as the tile was making our feet black. After that...a very pleasant stay. One additional caveat, it is a bit far to be moving a cooler and a bunch of beach toys back and forth multiple times a day if you don't have a cart of some type. There were a couple of issues I mentioned to the property manager at our departure: front door was difficult to lock/unlock, tubs did not drain well, downstairs toilet dripped constantly. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking, bring your own knives (very dull), can opener, juicer, etc. Some things were not provided. The back patio area was very grown over and unpleasant, did not spend any time there. Also the charcoal grill was unusable & dirty. Glad we brought our own. Despite these issues, we would probably stay again just go better prepared. The addition of wi-fi would make it more appealing as well. The property is a nice property with a great beach location, but I could have done without the ants; plus no broom to sweep the floors. Being threatened for extra cleaning charges and not following odd rules made me feel I was at a prison.The property manager was terrible and getting hooked for a $50 damage insurance policy was an insult; plus the power was out all saturday night. Where was the power insurance from the owner? I watched how the civil service tried to fix the power outage; it was obvious they voted for obama and were about as lazy as President Obama. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 The townhome had a great location with just 1-2 blocks from an uncrowded beach on a sidewalk with beach showers at the end of the sidewalk. It is located walking distance to a Stripes and a beachmart. About 2miles out of town. The townhome was clean with lots of room for privacy when staying with another family, including a seperate TV room for the kids. The only complaint was limited parking (many parked in grass) and the small pool (however many of the shared pools in Port A are the small). The bedding was comfortable and lots of utensils/pans/ect. in the kitchen. The lake in the back was an added bonus when sitting on the balcony! The pictures are deceiving! The bedrooms are a good size and the beds comfy. But the living area and kitchen are tiny. The pool was even smaller than it looked in the pictures. Also, there is no bottle opener (hello this is a vacation home!) and the grill that is advertised is worthless (the second grate to hold coals in was missing!). Also, there were no extra trash bags or paper towels and not enough towels and we had to wash them daily. Be very prepared when renting this condo. We had fun fishing and walking to the beach, but little inconveniences were annoying. In short this would be a great place to stay for 4 adults, if you have more than that rent the condo next door too!
