Review of OTB3202 "The Bird Cage" A guest from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in April, 2012 The house is nice and the location is as advertised, "on the beach". The house was clean. The view is only a partial view of the Gulf because the house is 1 story and the deck is not elevated so sand dunes constitute a major portion of the view. The deck is not covered. The management company is friendly and competent. Unfortunately, the TV system was not working (Dish Network) so we experienced inconvenience as a result of our rental. The management company representative personally came to the house and attempted to resolve the TV problem but was unable to do so. I feel the management company should have been aware of this TV problem prior to our visit. Wonderful vacation A guest from dripping springs, texas recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2012 You can't beat the location. The house is bright and airy. We spent a lot more time at the beach that we normally do because it was so close. I liked watching the different birds fly in for feeding times and seeing crab tracks in the sand in the morning close to the house. Sunrise is gorgeous. We also liked that the house is so close to town also. We could be at a shop in 10 minutes. So we got alot of beach and shopping time. We did not want to come home! We will definietly book again! Maintenance Needed A guest from San Angelo, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2012 Could not receive a single TV channel on any set. Repairs needed to outside light fixtures making it dark at night to come and go. Doors to Master Bath were not working. Made adjustments myself. They desperately need lubricating. Super Relaxing Attention to Details Richard B. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2012 Loved the well stocked kitchen, and loved all the little touches throughout the house that really made a difference. We truly felt like we were borrowing someone's home. Waking up to the palm tree sunrise and sand dunes just outside the master is wonderful. My favorite besides the deck, was the large bathroom in the master that has an awesome corner shower tiled with pebble stone. The sand dune driveway offers good privacy and direct beach access.
