This is the closest unit to the pool and is perfect for people with small children. This condo has an open livingroom and dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a full. There a two full baths one in each bedroom. Pets are not permitted in this unit and smoking is allowed outside only. Oh, did I mention the sunrises are amazing! Nestled in the golden dunes of Mustang Island, Beachhead condos all have awesome gulf views. The complex amenities include a swimming pool, lounge facility for up to 60 people with a fully equipped kitchen, great for parties, weddings, family reunions, basketball and volleyball court, playground, private boardwalk to the beach just steps from any of the units. I could have stayed in the same type of unit for $150 less than what I paid there. For the price I expect a lot better facilities. Then the lady I was dealing with could only say "sorry", but she wouldn't offer to offset or make it a better stay. Just a very very very cold sorry that was meant to just move me out of the way to her next client. Another manager there said he'd make it right, but I haven't heard back from them. Condo was okay but a staff was very racist A guest from Mansfield, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 We had a fun time until a small incidence happened in the swimming pool, the cleaning guy made a really discriminated comment which made my husband husband really mad, because we didn't do anything. He was being very racist!!! Other than that, the place is a short walk from the beach and everyone else was nice at the office. I wouldn't recommend this place to my Asian friends because I don't want them to run into the same situation. Mostly positive stay Meagan S. from Austin, texas recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2012 Condo was as described, good location, although on the 3rd floor which I didn't expect. The only issues were with the linens and the very poor mattress on the pull out sofa. The beds were not comfortable, and the pull out mattress cover had blood stains on it. These things happen- but the management company was no very helpful with fixing this. I called first thing in the morning, heard nothing, called in the afternoon and they told me I would have to go to the office to pick up the extra linens, we go there an they didn't have another mattress pad. An hour later I go a call to come back to the office. The office is only 5 min from the condo, but we were out enjoying our vacation. You would think they could have housekeeping bring it over. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2012 Enjoyed the beach and the location of 105 in vicinity to the pool and playground.Overall room appearance not very appealing, I would have to say dingy and worn out. One of the large windows in the living room did not have any covering or window blinds, therefore, the sun was a constant glare during the day and denied privacy at night. A call was placed from the room to ask about the shower head and no one ever returned the call. The shower head in the MBR was horrible and sprayed water all over the place and not on the occupant. I have never had any issues with the condos until my recent stay. I thought the bathrooms needed a makeover and the tubs were filthy. My unhappiness is solely based on the last condo we stayed in. If that had been my first stay at Beachhead I would never stay there again but since I had a great room in years past I would probably consider staying again. The Sea Dreams condo at Beach Head is in desperate need of repair Regina H. from San Antonio, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2010 I was so completely dissatisfied with the condition of this condo. Carpet is horribly stained, looks disgusting. Bathrooms look worse than staying at a run down Motel 6. Tacky cheap Wal Mart bedding. Overall condition is run down and dingy. Beds were at least comfortable and sheets seemed clean. No one ever came with extra towels and only had 2 small bars of soap for 2 bathrooms. The units shown on website are attractive and our friends in another unit had a great condo. At $240 a night, I feel violated like I should sue for false advertising. I won't be back!
