This condo has an open livingroom and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two twins.There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living area. There a two full baths one in each bedroom. Pets are not permitted in this unit and smoking is allowed outside only.Oh, did I mention the sunrises are amazing! Stayed for 3 days in May, 2013 I've been staying at Beachhead for 20 years and it hasn't changed a bit. I mean that in the best way. The condos are spacious and delightfully kitschy, the grounds feature grills, picnic tables, horseshoe, etc., and the large pool and proximity to the beach is great. Unit 303 doesn't have the most modern amenities (no wifi) but it's in a good location with views of the dunes and sea. The one complaint I have about Beachhead is that there is minimal-to-no front desk service now that Port A Escapes manages rentals. Otherwise, I highly recommend this condo. Great location, great bedrooms....badly needing updates!! A guest from San Antonio, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2013 Glad to find a great location at fair price at the last minute. The 2 full baths is a definite plus!! This unit needs renovating and updates! Walk in and very musty smell. Only one small tv in living room. Slow drain in bath, rusty looking fridge and micro. While very clean, a big visual turn off. Kitchen needs more wares. S/P shakers were empty. Bedding all musty. The pool area is fabulous but I guess they only expect 5 people as this was about how many loungers there are. We did have to kill a very big roach. Please remodel, renovate and resupply. I will pay the upgrade price!!! The location is excellent. I would not come back to this particular unit. I hope Beach Head has remodeled units 'cause location is fantastic and so is the pool area. Maybe a better and cleaned grill also. We did grill but used new grill racks. We feel that Winter Texans have not been dealt with in a fair and courteous manner by the management company. Many of we returning guests feel that Winter Texans are not valued by the management company. Condos are being rented out from under some while they are still in residence with no notification. I brought my mother, husband, son and grandson...3 generations and we had a wonderful time. The beach is just a short 3 minutes walk, and there is outdoor showers to clean off sand and the pool was well kept, large and clean. The only small downside was that we brought our stuff to play tennis but the tennis courts were not not playable, no enclosure or nets. But we still had a great time. Only issue we had was not getting a late checkout when requested because they had a lot of condos to clean. I felt it would have been easy to do mine later in the day and give us the 2 extra hrs. The building management acted very fast and repaired it so we were able to get a few channels - it rained a full day while we were there :|The wifi signal was very weak and required a login/password that was very different from what was posted on the reference sheet in the kitchen. I normally don't bring work to the beach, but had to get some deliverables sent out before I could enjoy myself.On our last night night there, we were visited by the biggest, fastest cockroach I'd ever seen. We did not manage to catch it as it moved too quickly under the furniture. Needless to say, we slept with the lights on that night !The location was perfect, we had a very short walk on the boardwalk to the beach, where I have never felt sand so powdery. The waves were fun and allowed for lots of body surfing. We can't wait to return to our beach getaway! Room Smelled Like Pesticides Dustin W. from tomball, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2011 First of all we were moved to a different condo, which was alright. Woman in the office said she gave us a 20% discount, which we already got for booking during the weekday. So really didn't give us anything for changing rooms. The first thing we noticed is that the room smelled horrible with Pesticides. We called office and they stated oh it shouldn't smell that way. Well it did smell and they did nothing to fix it!! The condo smelled for four days and we sprayed febreeze the entire time. Plus woke up with headaches due to smell. The complex was nice, but your service is horrible. I even explained to the woman at check out about the smell and she said Oh Sorry! We also called about extra towels... guess you don't do that either, the guy stated to come to their office he had about three towels. Sure I will get in my car and drive two miles. We only had four towels in each bathroom for four nights. Plus when we checked in we had left over food in frig and a box of wine that was empty. I'm glad to know where my cleaning fee goes. The condo we had said four to five stars on your ratings on tripadvisor. I would of just liked the issue to be fixed and no one helped. I used your company last year.
