Ancient farmhouse situated a few stone's throw from the village of Castiglion Fiorentino which is endowed with all kind of shops and services and where, during the whole year, important historical, folk and art events take place. The house owners live on ground floor and with their discreet presence will be a reliable reference point for any information or need. All around the house the agricultural organic farm where many products such as seasonal vegetables, good wine and extra virgin olive oil are produced and can be tasted and bought. In the wide garden, at guests disposal, there are a wooden gazebo equipped with table and chairs to eat outside, a barbecue, a children playground, a five-a-side football field and the swimming pool (size m. 6x12, depth m. 1,20-2,20) which is sometimes used also by the owners. From the garden you can admire the beautiful Castle of Montecchio, which preserves an intact circle of walls and a hill tower and dominates the house. Furnishing, simple and characteristic, make the house comfortable and cosy. On request the owner will cook breakfast and typical Tuscan dinners.
