Stayed for 29 days in March, 2012 This was a well appointed home with everything we needed for our family of five plus grandparents and a dog.We really enjoyed the pool and found it easy to adjust the heat as desired. Be sure to confirm that the bedroom/ bathroom layout is suitable for your group. The master suite is wonderful but the bedroom that should have worked best for our children did not have easy access to a bathroom. This was a bit tricky for our littlest ones. The weather was absolutely perfect and the people friendly. The home was very nice,plenty of room for everyone (8) and comfortable, especially the beds. It was pleasantly decorated. We didn't use the pool since it was winter and we were out exploring and doing other activities. However, with the arcadia doors the pool provided a lovely ambience. The linen hall closet fell off the hinges the first time it was opened. The toilet handle was hanging off the toilet and water constantly ran. The Kithcen Sink was leaking and we had to keep a bucket under the sink. The pool was not clean. The fireplace mantle was on the verge of breaking and was obviously fixed previously. No Detergent left in the home to wash the towels, we contributed that to the house. Not enough toilet paper in the home, ran out first day. Chair in the Game room was broken. Garage Door was stuck and would not close. Overall the home is not stocked well, cleaned well, or maintained well. Desert Delight but a little run down A guest from torrance, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2010 the property in pictures look amazing but was a little disappointed when we got there, the " dorm room" was more of a garage convert and super cold. no heating except portable heaters, the pool and jaccuzzi is ok. but the back yard over all is small. the living room is really set up weird with a tiny little tv in there that you can barley see. overall we had a good time but IMHO i dont think we would choose this property again. The managment company is either really nice or have some serious attitude. during the rental they were super nice. after calling about the refund on the pool heating they sounded really annoyed i was even calling, and they told me to call back that day two weeks prior. It was large, stylish, easy to get around in, comfortable and the pool was grand. It worked well for my elderly mother as well as 4 teens. Needed a few working light bulbs, and the lighting in general was a little dim. The kitchen was well-stocked, although we didn't notice the drawer under the stove with all the spatulas, etc, for awhile! The location was great, and the neighborhood was pleasant for walks. The air conditioning was not working in one of the rooms, my father had to leave because of this5. The knobs on the gas grill were not workiing6. Your service was outstanding. We will use your services for our house next year, however we will not be requesting to stay at that house again. One of the bedrooms was extremely hot (no air flow), the lightswitches (lots of them) were very confusing as to what light they turned on but our biggest concern was the pool. On the first day 3 of us got rashes on our butts from sitting in the pool, the 2nd day 2 of us had a rash on our thigh (along with the rash on the butt). There was salt chunks floating throughout the pool and the steps were covered with salt. The house we rented the year before was salt water but had none of these problems. I would recommend looking into your pool guy and the maintenance he does. Other than that it was a beautifull house. Nice House - Defective Pool Scott & roseanne N. from BC, CANADA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 8 days in March, 2008 The pool heat didn't work properly, and the problem wasn't handeled well by the property managers. The property manager told us the pool heat worked one way when we first got there - and then the pool maintenance person told us that it worked a different way half way through our stay (because it wasn't working properly the way the property manager had told us). Despite notifying the property managers about the defective pool heat and the fact that we were unable to use the hot tub for alot of our stay, and the fact that the pool was being heated to the temperature of the hot tub when we were able to use the hot tub, and despite them telling us that they would definitely look after the problem for us, they didn't and we were still charged $320 of our $400 pool heat deposit. Otherwise, nice house for a large family. Only other comment would be no wireless internet. But that wasn't so critical to us. And, by the way, apart from the pool problems the property managers were otherwise good to deal with. But the pool heat problem wasn't dealt with well at all. Have to say, though, that if the pool heat had been dealt with better, we would have given them 4 (maybe even 5) stars out of 5 overall.
