Nice property in a central location A guest from Chapel Hill, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2012 We stayed the first week of April 2012. The property was large and well maintained, we had a few problems getting the pool to heat but the rental company were responsive and the problem was sorted out quickly. We had a very early checkout on a Sunday and the property company did not make it to the checkout but we spoke on the phone and there were no problems. The property is central to Palm springs and near two good grocery stores. the neighborhood is quiet and residential. modern but not magical A guest from Langley, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 29 days in January, 2011 We were disappointed most with the pool/hot tub which never ever seemed to work. There were no instructions avail and the pool maintanence company nor the manager knew how to make it function with a thermostat. The hot tub was either cold, empty, or scalding hot. It was unfortunate in that we had a friend visiting who had just finished a chemo treatment who could have used the pool for more than the one day it worked. We finally decided to head to a local spa to have a soak, especially on the last few days when the pool company sent someone over to check it out for the next family coming and commented that it was leaking. I felt like the $1,200 deposit to heat the pool was a total waste of money. This feature was really just to look at (sometimes the fountain part worked)Our first week was also a disappointment due to the broken items needing attention such as a toliet not flushing,a very slow clogged drain, and broken lazy susan. Also, I needed to go purchase new pots and a pan that wasn't cracked Teflon like the ones provided.The dishes and glassware were nice. Showers were fantastic.Yard and fruit was great. Unfortunately, we will not return to this property. Thanks for the opportunity to share our experience. It was somewhat smaller than it appeared and the 4th bedroom was not what we expected. We also thought that the 2nd master bedroom would have been larger. It is really more of a very nice quest suite and no where near as nice as the incredible master bedroom. The place was spotless and well stocked. We had a great time (4 adults and 4 teens). The yard is wonderful with an orange tree, lime tree and tangerine tree from which we picked fresh fruit. My only complaint was that the walls are super thin, so sleeping became difficult if one person stayed up late or one person got up early. Also, the 4th bedroom wasn't really a bedroom. It was a closed-in hallway w/ two twin beds. It worked as a 4th bedroom, but wasn't exactly what we expected.
