camp u will have no space to store your belongings A guest from Huntingdon Valley, PA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2010 Very challenging road to drive on during winter. Rental agency shoul give a warning about this road, 4 whell drive warning does not cut it there. The owners should clean out closets to provide storage space. Very small house. It might work for 2 couples Android one child. Property Manager Response: Response from Franconia Notch Vacations We do apologize, for the over 2 feet of snow that was recieved during the period that these guests where in house did indeed make getting through the road a bit challenging, however proper 4 wheel drive has yet to leave anyone walking in or out. Do note that a large part of this homes appeal is its so while not perfect for easy and immediate access to ski areas and attractions, it is perrr-fect for relaxing in a quiet mountain setting. Icy Visit A guest from Lexington, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2008 We stayed at Camp-U-No between Christmas and New Years 2008. The house was very comfortable for our group of six and in a lovely, quiet location. Our only problems were with the extremely icy conditions (the road and parking were not sanded)and a small fireplace which required a window to be open (outside 10 degrees!) and still did not function properly. Property Manager Response: Mother Nature sure dealt us a an icy hand during your visit, and we have spoken to our road agent to ensure better attention to sanding be paid during such situations. Thanks for letting us know. As for the woodstove-fireplace it can be a bit tricky creating the proper draft while getting it lit, however once enough heat has been generated it works like a charm.
