WE WERE HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME AND SATURDAY A CLEANING LADY SHOWED UP AND SAID SHE WAS THERE TO CLEAN. WHEN I BOOKED THE PROPE Pam D. from Las Vegas, NV recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 I NEEDED THE PROPERTY. I WAS THERE WITH NO CAR, AND SHE IS TELLING ME I HAVE TO GET OUT. I SAID, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO, AND SHE SAID, YOU HAD BETTER GET ON THE PHONE AND START CALLING MOTELS. SHE DID SEND AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION, BUT I DIDN'T EVEN OPEN IT,BECAUSE I HAVE USED ACCOMADATION SERVICES FOR YEARS AND DIDN'T EVEN FEEL THE NEED TO CHECK IT. I ASKED HER IF SHE HAD ANYTHING I COULD GO INTO, AND AFTER FIRST SAYING NO, SHE CAME UP WITH A CONDO. WE HAD TO PACK UP EVERYTHIGN AND MOVE FOR ONE NIGHT. A VERY BAD ENDING TO A WONDERFUL WEEK IN MCCALL. I EXPLAINED TO HER, I WOULD HAVE NEVER GIVING HE A DATE TO CHECK OUT ON SAT. I DIDN'T FEEL THAT SHE HANDLED ME IN A VERY ACCOMADATING WAY AT FIRST,BUT THEN SHE DID FIND ME A CONDO CLOSE TO WHERE WE WERE STAYING.I DEFINITELY WILL CHECK DATES WHEN I BOOK WITH SOMEONE AGAIN AND NOT TRUST ANYONE AGAIN. THE CABIN ITSELF IS A GREAT LOCATION FOR US, MY SON OWNS A CABIN ON THE SAME STREET, SO VERY CONVIENIENT. THE PLANTS ON THE TV CABINET NEED TO BE CLEANED. SPIDER WEBS AND DUST. I don't want to see pictures of you and your family in every room! Michael H. from Boise, ID does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2011 The layout of the Levin Cabin is perfect! It features a wonderful view of the golf course and has a roomy back deck to enjoy watching the golfers pass by. It appears the home has recently had new carpet and flooring installed. Unfortunately, the home is in desperate need of new furniture. The beds are so old and hard and one can feel the springs in them. The living room furniture is also old and in dire need of replacement. When you sit anywhere in the living room, it feels like you are sitting on a hard wooden bench. This is because the cushions on everything are so worn out, they are almost useless.BEWARE HOWEVER, I have been renting vacation rentals in McCall for 15 years or so and have never stayed in a house where there was a picture (or pictures) of the owner and their family. In the Levin Cabin however, there is a picture of the owners and/or their children in every room. It made me and my family feel VERY uncomfortable! We understand these are private homes we are renting, but when owners display personal pictures of themselves so liberally, it makes the guests feel like intruders on the property, not renters. We paid to stay in the house?the Levin Family however made us feel like they were doing us a favor by letting us stay in their house (due to all the personal photographs of themselves). My family and I will not be renting this property in the future due to this fact.(Please note, this review is based solely on our experience with the Levin Cabin and is not intended whatsoever to reflect poorly on the property management company, Accommodation Services. We have been using Accommodation Services for many years now and have always been very pleased with the high level of service they give their customers.) Nice place, but needing some improvement Craig S. from Meridian, ID does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2008 This was a nice home and comfortable for 6 people to stay. We could tell that the owners have taken pride in ownership of the property. We had solid snow flurries during our stay and the roads were well maintained. The place had a great view of the golf course. At the time of our stay, we did not have a working fireplace and there was no repair person to be found. The satellite television did not work well, and there were four remotes to try to navigate the TV's operations. We tried a VCR movie, which did not work. It would have been helpful to have instructions on switing between remotes and for the television to actually work. Once we figured to clean off the snow from the dish itself, we were able to get a few more channels, but not many. Needless to say, this became a little frustrating. Additionally, the hot tub, which was important to us, was warm (but not hot) and there were few jets that did not produce much pressure. We will probably look for another place next time in hopes of finding a fully operational hot tub, fireplace, and television. Our Stay at the Levin Cabin Fred P. from Vashon, Wasington recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2008 Two daughters and I enjoyed the Levin cabin very much. We give it 4 out of 5 possible stars. Drawbacks were as follows: On arrival the driveway had not been plowed. Our Front wheel drive van with studded snow tires got stuck in the driveway. (we are experienced snow drivers.) We reported this immediately but the driveway was not plowed for about 3 days. We blame the property management, not the cabin or owners. During our stay the disc TV rarely worked. The maintenance man informed us that disc TV in McCall is problematic and not well supported by the service company. On arrival the gas fireplace that provides much of the heat was not operational. The maintenance man fixed it the first day so we credit that although when we first reported it Accom Services did not promise that they could "get to it " until the following afternoon. The cabin itself was charming, nicely decorated and well provisioned. The hot tub was marginal as it was quite small and only heated to 99 to 100 degrees. During our stay the unshoveled snow on the garage roof slid and burst open a side access door on the garage. We have owned vacation properties in Sunriver, OR for 12 years. If we were to own such a property in McCall, ID we would shop around for a management firm. I was there in early Oct, the Aspens were turning, it was beauiful. We saw Deer on the Golf Course from the deck and one night there was a fox in the back yard and he just laid in the grass and looked at us while we grilled some steaks and took his picture.
