A very scenic drive of less than 16 miles brings you to the village of Lake Placid, site of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics and now a four season vacation favorite.

Payment Options: Windsong Cabin accepts payments through PayPal, Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) Check, Money Order or Cash.

Deposit: DOWN PAYMENT: A 50% down payment is required to confirm your reservation. The balance, plus tax and any security deposit or dog fee is due two weeks prior to your arrival.

Lodging Tax: Stays of six nights or less are subject to NY state and Essex County sales and use tax (10.75%).

Other Fees: SECURITY DEPOSIT: No security deposit is required if you elect to pay Windsong Cabin directly via credit card. If you pay by PayPal, Check, Money Order or Cash, a security deposit of $200 is required at the time of the final payment and will be promptly refunded after the premises has been cleaned, inspected and inventoried.

Other Policies: PETS: Pets are not allowed with the possible exception of well behaved dogs, which may be allowed but must be registered with Windsong Cabin prior to your arrival and will require an additional $50 fee to account for the usual cleaning requirements associated with animals.
