Good place to stay if you don't need luxury. A guest from Brick, N.J. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012 I have been going to Killington minimum once a year for my birthday for the last 25 years and I have stayed at most of the hotels on the access road. Overall this was a good place to stay. The location was great, minutes from the lifts. The layout was nice too, I like having the loft and the full kitchen and it accommodated the four of us nicely even with out 3 dogs. It was generally clean, the carpet was worn and stained but you have to expect that from a place that allows dogs. The main problem I had was with the sleeping arrangements. The mattresses, pillows, linens and blankets were all of the worst quality and it really took away from my sleep. I stay at a lot of hotels and I don't expect 800 thread counts and Beauty Rests but these were really bad, especially for what you pay to stay here. The only other problem was that the office closed at 5:30 and the only phone number on the website goes to an 800 hotline that doesn't have any specific info about where you're staying. If you have any problems at night you are S.O.L. till morning. Overall I would recommend this place, just bring your own bedding and pillows. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2011 We had a great time and the location was great. the unit is a little tired and needs some paint and carpet but since we had our dogs with us it's understandable. the only complaint I have is that we were supposed to be refunded the $250 cleaning fee if the unit was clean when we left. Be careful about your reservationist. A guest from Closter, NJ recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2011 I make the reservation by telephone and was told one thing about how I would be charged and that was not honored. It caused a problem with my bank account. I had no return phone call from WiseVacations even though I left two phone messages. Problematic handling on their part and when I went into the office, they were not helpful.
