I don't wish to provide a title... Jonathan J. from Monument, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2012 Just a couple of observations...1) The heat did not seem to work very well2) No trash bags (just the one in the basket)...quite annoyingAlso, recommend adding WIFI...a router only costs $20-$25 and it makes it sooooo nice, especially for phones/ipads/etc. Property Manager Response: Response from Summit County Mountain Retreats Thank you for staying with us. We are not sure where the confusion came from, but there is included Wifi in the condo. We are very sorry that the appropriate amount of trash bags were not in the condo. As a standard we stock condos with several trash bags as well as 2 large 50 gallon bags. We apologize that this was missed. |

No better ski-in location in Keystone! Steven R. from Boulder, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2011 Overall, it was a fabulous experience. Our only issue is the limited elevator space/capacity made for some frustrating trips in an out of the unit, particularly when loading and unloading baggage.Hot tub area needed better servicing with towels. We will definitely return. |

Terri S. from Round Rock, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in January, 2011 The chair in the living room had disgusting stuff underneath it. I think this property should have cleaning service for the amount you pay as well as trash service come on I don't go on vacation to take the trash out and make my own beds. Property Manager Response: Response from Summit County Mountain Retreats Hi Terri,We are certainly sorry that the condo was not in perfect condition when you arrived. If you had notified us of this, we would have come out immidiately and rectified the situation. I DO NOT think the rest of your review is fair or accurate. You agreed to a very clear written rental agreement. Our company philosphy is to charge for services that guests actually want. We offer all levels of cleaning services on an Al a Carte basis. We are happy to provide daily service to guest who want this. However, we do not force it upon guests that do not want it. This is all clearly stated in the rental agreement. Other companies include daily service for all guests, but they charge ALL guests 20% to 50% more. We appreciate you staying with us and if you stay with us in the future we will be delighted to provide any level of service you would like. |

Lone Eagle #3020 Review Singh P. from Katy, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2010 Had a great stay at this condo, ski in/out location is excellent and property management staff is very helpful. The fireplace and coffee/hot chocolate in the lounge area and the patio fireplace in Lone Eagle is a nice touch and excellent for breaks during the day. The heated pool / hot tub was shut down for a couple of days during our stay so we could not enjoy this facility. I recall seeing a video (by owner? I think it was on ) where it was said that the condo has 3 bathrooms, it has ony 2 as stated in Summit County Mountain Retreats rental. Property Manager Response: Response from Summit County Mountain Retreats Singh,Thank you for choosing our condo. We are glad you had a great time. We will double check all our advertising and make sure we don't have anything mistated about the bathrooms. Thank you for letting us know. We are glad this did not negitively impact your visit. |

fall vacation at lone eagle 3020 A guest from Castle Rock, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2010 we wanted a nice place to stay for wife's 62 birthday. after reviewing many properties we decided on lone eagle. we thought it was a great room rate for the location until we were told about the $99.00 "cleaning fee" to be added. but since it was last minute we reluctantly booked. when we arrived we found a note inside stating we had to do the dishes, sweep floors and empty trash. we came to relax and now had to do the housekeeping and still were charged $99.00 for 2 nights. We were so dismayed that we ate out to avaoid cleaning the kitchen and incurring extra cleaning fees which were discussed in the literature we found in the room after arrival. we were never informed we would be paying a cleaning fee-hefty- and cleaning up ourselves or incurring more fees. we found that insulting for a holiday stay. the condo was in a nice location but needed cleaning. the blinds had a thick layer of dust; the jacuzzi tub exuded black layers of film when used (coming out of the jets), there were layers of soap scum in the tub and showers. the worst part though was the condo was VERY dark. the light fixture over the dining table was so dim that you could not read a a paper and barely see to eat. the condo had very dim lighting throughout and at night felt like a cave. finally, we were told our room card would let us into owner facilities on the first floor but when we tried to access the owner's facilities the card would not work. overall for the price we paid for 2 nights for a couple, i would rather have booked a suite in a hotel where the cleaning was done by staff, shampoos were refilled without charge and fresh towels fresh were supplied without having to wash them yourselves . Property Manager Response: Response from Summit County Mountain Retreats Jean, we are very sorry you did not enjoy your stay. All of our guests agree to a fair and clearly worded rental agreement. Many of your comments are incorrect. However, that does not change the fact that you had a poor experience. We truly wish that you would have contacted us at any time during your stay and we would have gladly assisted you with any of your needs. Just to state the facts, clean towels, linens, soaps, shampoos, conditioner, lotion, and much more are always provided to our guests. Your room card DID access all the common areas, otherwise you would not have been able to get in the building. Guests are not required to clean the dishes or sweep floors. We do ask that you drop the trash off in the dumpster next to the garage. It seems a bit unfair to complain about the cleaning fee, even though we informed you of the fee, both verbally and in writing, prior to your stay. $99 may seem like a lot when you are staying during "low season." However this million dollar condo has been happly rented by nice folks who have paid over $800 per night for this wonderful place. |
