Step out of our gorgeous building and you are in the Heart of River Run at Keystone. It is right in the middle of all the action. This is the newest area of Keystone It really has the best of both worlds. When you walk out of the building you are next to all the shops and restaurants. There is a great variety of activities in the River Run village year round. Almost every weekend during the summer there are festivals. There are tons of things to do for the kids such as adventure Tuesdays, bounce houses and more.
You will love our elegant condo and recent upgrades. The new high-quality sleeper sofa will provide you a good night?s rest. This is one of the few 1 bedroom / 2 bathroom condos around. If you don?t like sharing your bathroom with the kids; this is the place. We have recently upgraded our master bedroom to a king size bed and put a flat screen TV in the living room. You will find the kitchen is well stocked. The gas fireplace is awesome in the winter and the balcony looks out onto River Run Village. So if you like people watching, this is a good one for you.
It is about a 2 minute walk to the new high speed gondola. Keystone's base elevation is 9,280 feet above sea level, and the top of the mountain is just over 12,000 feet. It only takes 11 minutes for the gondola to go all the way up this massive mountain.
For an additional fee we offer XBOX 360's, Playstation 3's, Nintendo Wii's and the iPad 2. Rent one of these amazing devices and let your kids have a blast while you relax. My only complaint was the bed and pillows were not very cofortable and our grandaughter said the sleeper sofa was not comfortable. She ended up just sleeping on the sofa. The carpet is in need of cleaning and stretching. Overall everything was great though. The first night we could not get fireplace started and they responded within minutes and got it going. One day we had trouble with keys and once again they were there within minutes to correct the problem. We took our 10 year old grandaughter and it was a great place for kids. Almost stayed in Silver Mill, but very happy that we switched to Arapahoe at the last minute. Perfect for those who like a little privacy, but still want to be in the middle of everything. There were a lot of little kids next door at the Dakota Lodge, so we didn't use the pool much. Luckily Arapahoe had its own private hot-tub that kept us happy for our Adults only trip. Kitchen utensils, pots and pans, etc. were a little limited, and I don't think I've ever stayed at a condo that didn't have salt and pepper in the cabinent (only baking soda and baking powder?); but I understand not everything is going to be perfect so we just went to the general store downstairs to buy the salt and pepper ourselves. Directions were a little hard to follow for picking up our keys, but we got it resolved in fairly short order once we realized that the keys were to be picked up at an offsite location accross the highway. The place is well maintained. The hot tub and pool are right down stairs and the heated parking garage is insanely better than parking in the snow. The condo is really really really close to the lift. I walked there in under 2 minutes. The cool little village is right out the front door. I just could not ask for a better place. Oh and the manager was super helpful. We got into the condo early when we arrived and checkin was a breeze. No lines. No hassle! What a nice change! On our way out to Colorado I spoke wih property management and as told that the key would be left in the lock box. After arriving 10 minutes after rental office hours ended, We looked in the lock box only to find no key card! We had a nervous 20 minutes trying to get ahold of someone that could help us. At that point we weren't certain where we were going to spend the night! Somebody did call us back and (crisis averted) finally got us into the unit. upon. I contacted the property owner who was very apologetic and understanding and basically made things right. Overall we java GREAT stay and would stay again in a heart beat. Unbelievable location (right across from the lift) 2 bathrooms with a fireplace, this place was pimp! The technical issue took place in the middle of the night 2-5 am and inconvenienced all guests. King size bed was comfortable. underground parking made the trip so easy. Finding the rental place and getting the key was not so easy. We came over Loveland pass and did not realize the directions to office were backwards. The unit is pricey once you had on all the additional fees. I will most likely stay in the town of Dillon next time due to the price. I bought this deal off Group On for $369 ($500 actually when you add tax, fees, cleaning etc) for 2 nights/1 bedroom. Loveland pass is the oppsosite direction and a road in frequently traveled in the winter due to the dangerous road. All fees were clearly disclosed when the Groupon was purchased and you had the opportunity to get a refund anytime before booking. There is nothing we can do about taxes which are extremely low at 5.775% and our cleaning fee is the lowest in the county. We are sorry that you did not feel like a highend condo that is 100 yards from the Gondola,during peak ski season was worth slightly more than a hotel room 10 miles away. The baths were nice, the one in the bed room was large. It was a perfect size for 2-3 people any more than that it would have been tight. It needs a little attention as do most older units. The coffee maker is a bit out of order, the dishwasher broke down day two making it inoperable, one burner on the stove does not work and as with every unit I have ever rented the knives need sharpening badly. Maintenance staff were fast and friendly on the dishwaser, although it could not be fixed.The location is great and we never used our car after arrival. The only thing is the living area in this unit is kind of small and the heat is crazy! We turned off the heater and cracked windows because it got really hot. Otherwise, the unit was clean and very easy to get 's advertised to sleep up to 5, but it was too crowded. They kids involved were constantly moving between room and letting the doors slam very loudly. We were awaken multiple times had trouble getting any decent sleep.Other then the noise issue the place was great. I hope this was a one time occurrence.
