This beautifully decorated one bedroom, one bath condo is ideally located in Buffalo Lodge. You can enjoy village and mountain views from the balcony. The owner recently replaced the living room furniture, so you can enjoy a good night's sleep on the new, queen sized sleeper sofa if you have a group of 4 people. The bedroom features a queen sized bed, and TV with VHS player. After an active day, you can sit and enjoy the gas fireplace and a movie on the TV with DVD player in the living room. The full kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook a meal away from home. The owner has thought of all of the little extras for you including a crockpot, blender, and plastic cups, bowls, and plates for the kids. If you are traveling with young children, there is a pack-n-play in the condo for you to use. The condo is also more child friendly with outlet covers throughout the condo.Free high speed wireless internet is included.
From the windows in the living room and bedroom, you can see views of River Run Village. From the balcony, you can enjoy the festivals and other events held in River Run Village as well as views of the ski slopes in the distance.
A short walk (150 yards) allows for easy access to the new, high-speed, 8 person gondola, You are also steps from restaurants, shops, ski rental facilities, and a small grocery store.
Buffalo Lodge was completed in the late 90?s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. This means there is less congestion in the building during busy times and all units are a short walk from the elevator. There are two high speed elevators that service only 90 units. Enjoy no hassle parking in the heated parking garage under the building. Laundry facilities are located on both the first and fifth floor. After a day of activities, come back to the exclusive BUFFALO CLUB located on the ground floor of Buffalo Lodge and enjoy the hot tubs, pool tables, or enjoy a good book in one of several sitting areas. Our guests also have exclusive access to the heated swimming pool and sauna at the adjoining Dakota Lodge.

It is so hard that my arms go numb if I sleep on my side. I took an inch memory foam pad to lay down on it this last time and it helped a little but was still super hard so I laid a thick blanket on top the pad to make it better. The wooden entertainment stand that the out dated TV sits in needs to go. It is so big and bulky and in the way. Get rid of it and put a flat screen in and it will free up a lot of space. The property was nice and clean. The kitchen is very small and you need to be careful when opening the dishwasher and walking around. I tripped and fell over the dishwasher while cleaning up. The coffee maker needs some adjusting - it seems as if the water fills up in it and maybe we just didn't know how to use it. There are no filters for coffee in the unit. Possibly, you do not need it due to the machine. It was just confusing. The location is awesome. The bed is so so. Not that comfortable. I would not go back Phillip W. from Parkville, MO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2012 Very out dated furniture and terriblly uncomfortable bed and pull out couch. The large old furniture took up so much room in the unit it felt cramped to walk around without running into something. There is no a/c and it was uncomfortable to sleep when hot. The issue that upset me the most is that you pay for a cleaning fee but the tell you that you must do the dishes and take out the trash and clean the unit before you leave. I purchased via a groupon and was expecting a good deal. Even with the groupon I felt like the value was not there. I guess this is a ski tourist trap year round. What are the slopes like in summer? A guest from Minneapolis, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2012 I'd always wanted to see in the summer the places we used to ski during winter. A groupon special for Keystone provided the perfect opportunity for an affordable stay. We haven't skiied in Keystone since 1987, so this trip was a wonderful eye-opener and motivation to come back and ski this winter. The condo was spotless and nicely appointed, although position of TV in living room was awkward for viewing. A wall mount, flat screen that could be angled would solve the problem. There was reliable wi-fi service easily accessible. Super convenient for exploring River Run Village. Not being used to altitude and being out of shape, my husband and I were reluctant to spend the $15 for a Gondola ticket for what would likely be a brief half hour walk, so the Friday free pass for the Gondola was ideal. We loved the ride, the views, watching the bikers and listening to the Blue Grass musicians at the chalet. On Saturday, the toddler's bike races ran right under our balcony...what a hoot!The only downside was that the weather was warm enough that we wanted to leave the windows open. The early morning workers and vehicles at the Tavern and the noise from the Village were a bit disruptive. The band that was playing Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 was a sore point...I've rarely heard such poor vocals. We went for a drive to escape.We drove throughout Summit County to look over our old skiing grounds at Breckingridge, Vail, etc. We decided that Keystone will be perfect for us to try and get back our groove. We all had a full day of ski lessons and with the condo being a great oasis to be able to come back to we were also able to enjoy the Village?s restaurants and shopping. We ended our stay with a gondola ride and an hour of tubing ? the kid says awesome, and I agree!!! The only suggestion from me for the property owner is to get a bit more comfortable bed and pillows (too hard) ? it was difficult to get to sleep. All these items are operational and clean, however, somewhat "tired". Other than these small issues, the condo is great for a group of 4 or less. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. The wood unit that holds the TV doesn't make since at all and needs to be turned in order to watch it from anywhere you sit in the living room. I suggest a flat screen above the fireplace and get rid of that bulky thing that is just in the way. There weren't some standard utensils that would have been nice to have, like a pizza cutter or tongs. Other than that everything else was great!
