Relaxing Football Weekend

Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012
My family and I had a great extended weekend watching football on the big flat screen TV in the game room. The house was situated on the lake with great views from every common room. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The kids loved hanging out in the downstairs game room. We would definitely return to this spacious home.

The location of the house was great. Very nice house with lots of room for our large family. Really appreciated that they accepted dogs. We all enjoyed the house and the lake. A few issues, owners were still at house when we checked in, so there wasn't a professional cleaning of the property before we arrived, house was not fully cleaned upon our arrival, floors and kitchen could have been cleaner, general clean up on decks, etc. Gas BBQ did not work properly, was unsafe to use, needs repair before some gets hurt. 2 of the bathroom sink/tubs did not drain properly. Did not find instruction book as mentioned on the Remax welcome letter (Blue book). Did not find instructions to use air conditioning or DSL. Descriptions of beds on line stated 2 qn, 2 king, we found 1 king, 2 qn, 2 twin, 1 futon. That bed description should be better explained in the online description. Cost was high per night considering issues we faced. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and recommend to others and would return.

Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. The Property Owner has since replaced the BBQ, checked on the plumbing issues and is creating an instruction book for the home, including the directions for converting the 2-twin beds into a King. Regarding the condition of the home; the normal procedure is for the Property Owner to vacate by 11: am and have the home cleaned before the Guest arrival. But, the Property Owner was there attending to maintenance issues, cleaning of the carpet and they performed their own general clean. We apologize that it was not satisfactory.
