All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

The refrigerator had to be turned all the they up in order to keep our food cold. The shower in the master bath had a gap between the door and the frame, and water poured out every time someone took a shower. They provide one bar of soap per bathroom for the week and that was not enough so bring your own. The hot tub by the pool stopped working the last night we were there. Liked the 2 queen beds in one of the bedrooms for the boys. They could stay up as long as they wanted without keep us awake. We ALL loved the comfy beds. Liked the location of the condos, an easy walk to the main strip coming out around the aquarium area. The condo was nice enough....the 2 beds in one room sold us on it. We couldn't find anything comparable. Any other way the only way to get an extra bed was a fold out couch or an extra room. The only draw back to this condo is the across the street neighbors. Maybe a bar? Lots of people coming and going. Even had a building that burned down beside the "bar". Very trashy looking. The people that frequented it seemed to keep to themselves, but not the greatest show for 2 teens to watch while sitting on our balcony. If you get a condo that doesn't face the pool, you wouldnt see it as much. There is another cheap motel on the outer side, the people don't seem to be trashy, just cheap. I woulda stay Again. I called and they had a condo available (on short notice I might add). We walked in and were thrilled with the place - so much so, that I called my sister to thank her for the referral! The decor was beautiful! The rooms were CLEAN and comfortable! Our view was of the pool area, but we still had beautiful trees to look at also. We liked the fact that we were able to walk into Gatlinburg and didn't have to drive and find parking. Restaurants we liked were close by - for BBQ visit Corky's, and the Village shops were beautiful. I will say that if you want to go to Ober Gatlinburg, Calhouns, The Skylift or Texas Roadhouse, you might want to drive, they are a bit of a walk. But we didn't mind, we enjoyed the nice cool weather.The staff were great. Very nice and friendly. We will definately visit here again! We had not been before, and did not have any idea of where to stay. Because we have 2 kids, we have a preference for staying in Suites that have a separate bedroom from the living areas. We received some literature about accomodations in the area, and Mountain Vista appeared to be very new and well maintained. You can even view the actual condos that you will be staying in on the internet. The condo that was true to the pictures that were on the net. After a day of sight seeing, it was nice to go "home" where there was room for everyone to spread out and relax. Since there are full kitchens, we were able to prepare breakfast and lunch in the condo and eat out for dinner or bring take out to the condo. Kitchens are fully equipped with dishes, flatware and pots and pans. There is even a washer and dryer which we did use once. The reservation desk sells laundry detergent for $1.00. There are DVD's for rental for $1.00 which you can keep for the duration of your stay. There is no maid service, which was fine for us. Overall, a great place to stay in walking distance to many attractions we wanted to see! Would certainly stay again!
