Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 This is our second time to stay in Black Bear Falls, love the cabins and like the location close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and you can't get a better view. On one afternoon while we were there teenagers across the road from us were having a little hot tub party playing loud music and making alot of noise. Then the Sunday night before we left the cabin next to us had a house party that keep us up until 1:00am. We have been coming to Gatlinburg for over 20 years and this is the worst experience we have had so we will not be back to these cabins. Really enjoyed our 2 nights here. The only thing I have to say that's slightly negative is that the photos imply a bit more isolation than there actually is. The cabin is on a pad with 2 others and there are others above & below. That being said, the views -are- fantastic and we're actually considering making TN and this cabin a destination for a longer vacation. Although we were slightly disappointed about the close proximity to other homes. The pictures on the Alpine website were shot to make it look like it is isolated. This turned out to be not true. Terrible experience Craig W. from Toledo, OH does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2007 We could find the cabin, and the office manager/clerk was not alot of help. We drove around many times, and fianlly found a maintenance man from another company who assisted us in finding the property. There was no stereo/cd player there. I traveled from Toledo, Ohio to be highly disappointed. I will not recommend this Management group. It was late October-early November so the leaves were changing and we couldn't have asked for a better time of year to get married! The only thing we found out was that online the cabin looks a bit secluded but when you get there, you're close to several other cabins. Which isn't sooo bad. Very sad to see the for sale sign and someone is cutting down all the trees aroung the Blueberry Hill and Southern Comfort - what a shame. Both cabins are our favorite because of the privacy.
