On a hillside in the Alpe di Catenaia at 550m above sea level the medieval hamlet of GHIORA thanks to careful restoration has been brought back to life without losing its ancient origins. The old village now has 20 apartments, each with outdoor space with table and chairs, made out of 5 splendid houses built in local stone (Il Pratomagno, I Mandrioli, La Verna, Camaldoli, La Catenaia). A corner of paradise in the ancient Valle del Casentino, an enchanted isle of old stone and terracotta in an awe inspiring landscape. Guests who spend their holidays in these houses restored with such pride and respect for their Tuscan origin can use table tennis, mountain bikes and a beautiful 7 x 14 m swimming pool (depth 1,50 m) set in gardens forming a natural terrace dominating the green valleys below. In July and August you could be able to enjoy happy hours by the pool, wine tastings and typical dishes (on request).
