Welcome to the premiere vacation resort in California, the Welk Resort San Diego. Vacationers and timeshare owners alike will enjoy two 18 hole golf courses, a live theatre- featuring Broadway style productions and musicals, fine dining at our new Canyon Grille restaurant, multiple swimming pools and spas, activities for adults and kids alike, and award-winning villa suite accommodations. Nearby attractions include downtown San Diego, LegoLand, SeaWorld, The Wild Animal Park, the world famous San Diego Zoo, a number of exciting entertainment venues in Escondido and miles of spectacular southern California beaches just minutes away.

Located on 600 acres in Greater San Diego, California, Welk Resort San Diego is a unique destination resort for getaways, vacations, retreats, and small group gatherings. The resort has five recreational centers, including two water slides and interactive splash zones for kids and activities for all age groups. Welk Resort San Diego is close to all the attractions in Southern California, including the San Diego Zoo Wild Animal Park, Legoland, and the Pacific Ocean beaches, all just 25 minutes away.

Our nightly rental accommodations have complete kitchens with dishes and cookware, living and dining areas, private bedrooms, complimentary high speed Internet access, and patios or balconies with either golf course or mountain views. Many have fireplaces and jetted tubs.

Welk Resort San Diego offers one and two bedroom villas. Our one bedroom villas are available in your choice of one of five unique floor plans. Our two bedroom villas offer a very spacious floor plan with 1,400 square feet of space, ideal for two couples and families.

Daily housekeeping is available for a fee, arranged and paid for at check-in. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. Please note the following extra person fees-

For one bedrooms- 3rd and 4th adult would be an extra USD 10.00 each

For two bedroom- 5th and 6th adult would be an extra USD 10.00 each

Escondido is minutes from SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo, Legoland, San Diego Wild Animal Park and miles of beaches that stretch along the California coast from Carlsbad to Coronado. Also, be sure to visit the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park and Temecula Wine Country.
