Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 The condo was listed for 8 people, and while the sleeping accomodations were very nice, the communal area (living room space) was small. The couch and 2 chairs were good for 4 people, but the rest of us had to sit at the dining table while relaxing, which wasn't ideal. Should have been cleaned before we got there.We also would like to report on Unit #24 which we also rented that we were very dissatisfied with it. Saturday and Sunday night we had mice which ran over the blankets on the bed. Needless to say sleep was lost by the people in the condo. We tried to send these comments on the evaluation report like this but were told tha someone had already sent in an evaluation. We did not send that evaluation back to you. The coffeemaker was broken, the carpets were filthy, and the frig couldn't decide if it was a frig or a freezer. We looked for several days for extra sheets and didn't find them until the last day tucked in the back of a closet. The #21 condo needs a complete overhaul...#52 could use some sprucing up. Carnelian Bay Condos A guest from Provo, UT does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2009 In general, the condo was well arranged and roomy but had several deficiencies that kept the condo from feeling comfortable:1. The condo sleeps 10 (we had 6) but the water heater was so small that no more than two people could take a shower without the hot water running out. It would then take 45 minutes for the water to heat up again. This was a big downer2. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes.3. While the obvious surfaces were clean and dusted, most of the condo was not dusted and was in general dirty. The place needed a good thorough cleaning.In general, the condo was spacious and it COULD have been nice if there was enough hot water and it was cleaned. The property's location was good and safe, but it wasn't that clean. A guest from North Hollywood, CA recommends this property. One problem was that the Wireless Internet advertised as an amenity wasn't easily found or plugged in (finally found behind a downstairs TV). Couldn't get DVD to work and rentee from the previous week called and told us he couldn't get DVD to work. Some burned out lights in kitchen and porch. We bought new ones. Condo 21 was very nice compared to some of the other condos we stayed in. I'd recommend. Very inexpensive and great location! Didi F. from Antioch, ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2008 It was great location and very inexpensive which really help when you have to pay a lot at the ski resort. The only thing that I would suggest is to replace the stove in the complex, the stove they have is pretty out dated and the color is to dark. Parking situation could be better.
