The location was very central to 32, Canaan Valley State Park, Timberline, and downtown Davis but far enough away for peace and solitude. The house itself was huge for a home in this price, with 4 BR and 2 baths. I can see us coming back with our extended family for an extended stay. Stayed for 8 days in August, 2011 The owner of this property and their management company go out of their way to make your stay a happy one. We found out late on a Saturday night that the internet service had gone down. Sunday morning they had a repair person out to get the service up. He said we had wire service, but we needed a new wireless box, which would be a ninety minute drive to the nearest store that would have one. The owner went and had us wireless first thing Monday. I would rent from either this owner, and the management company without hesitation. We had rented at Black Bear down the road, and any time we had a problem, they said it was up to the owner (even though we rented through them), but did not provide us with contact info for the owner.
