Borgo Bello L is an age-old house in stone of 80 square meters (860 square
feet) which sleeps two people. It has a private patio overlooking the hills, as
well as large shared swimming pool and outdoor area. It is situated in the
countryside, about 40 km (approximately 25 miles) away from Siena and 50 km (31
miles) from Florence.

There is one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower, a living room with
fireplace and kitchen.

The house

Borgo Bello L is on the ground floor. It is part of a nice age-old building made
of stone and red bricks. In front of the house there is a nice patio, hidden
from the view by a hedge of shrubs planted in pots. The patio overlooks a lovely
tiny square, and has a view of the olive tree-covered hillside.

From the patio you will enter the living room. The living room is a spacious and
a welcoming room, divided into areas by a large arch made of red bricks. Here
you will find a sofa and armchairs placed in front of a nice fireplace, and a
satellite television as well. Past the brickwork arch there is a dining area,
where you will find a table with chairs and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a
four-burner stove, a fridge, and an oven.

The bedroom is nice and large. It is furnished in a romantic way with a large
wrought iron bed, grandma's drawer, two windows with curtains that match the
bedcover. The bedroom is equipped with air conditioning. The bathroom has a
shower.

Borgo Bello L will enable you to spend your vacation in a house completely
furnished and decorated with elegant and beautiful classical-style furniture.
The floors are of terracotta tile, and the ceilings have exposed wooden beams.

The house has a parking lot and is equipped with winter heating. There is also a
switch-board phone and possible internet connections.

The location

The house is part of an age-old hamlet consisting of a villa and other houses.
The hamlet is surrounded and adorned by splendid green hills. You will breath
clean air, please your eyes with a scenery of bright and vivid colors, smell the
perfume of flowers, and feel the quietude of the countryside.

The hamlet is located in the middle of a 160-hectare (395 acres) farming estate
filled with woods, olive groves, and vineyards. You will be in the countryside
between Arezzo and Siena, where the area of the cultivation of the Chianti wine
begins.

All the dwellings in the hamlet have been restored in order to become vacation
houses. Even the narrow streets have been renovated with care. Every corner will
surprise you with terracotta jars with exuberant geranium flowers and perfumed
shrubs of rosemary and lavender…

The hamlet is located on a hillside, and from every part of the village, you can
enjoy the gorgeous view of the valley below. The crenellated walls and the tower
of the nearby residence of the lord of the land add to the charm of the scenery.

The hamlet has a small restaurant and a bar. There is a reception desk with a
staff at your disposal. The hamlet consists of ten apartments and a small hotel
with four rooms.

As guests in the hamlet, you can use the big shared swimming pool, go fishing on
a small lake nearby, rent mountain bikes, and taste the local wine and products,
which are for sale as well.

You can even book some cooking lessons, guided excursions and trekking tours.

Swimming pool and outdoor area

As guests at Borgo Bello L, besides having your own private terrace, you will
also have access to a large outdoor area which is shared with the other guests
in the hamlet. There are green areas furnished with benches and garden
furniture. The restaurant and bar have an indoor area and several small tables
placed outdoors on the terrace.

The 20 x 8-meter (65 x 26 feet) swimming pool is 50 meters (164 feet) away from
the apartments and in a very panoramic position. There are umbrellas and deck
chairs around the pool. Once lying in the sun, your eyes will meet only lawns,
trees and flowers. A view of low and green hills will unfold before you. The air
is fresh, clean and filled with the smell of flowers and herbs. You will be able
to spend long and pleasant hours outdoors accompanied either by your friends, a
book in hands, or a glass of good Tuscan wine.

The swimming pool is open from mid-May to the end of September.

Nearby tourist attractions

Borgo Bello L is 4.5 km (about 2.8 miles) away from Bucine, which is a small
town where you can find shops, restaurants, a weekly market, and age-old
monuments to visit.

Borgo Bello is a convenient place to begin your quest for the beauty of Tuscany.

From Borgo Bello, all other places are quite accessible for daily excursions:
Siena (40 km - 24.8 miles), Florence (50 km - 31 miles), and Arezzo (30 km -
18.6 miles), three splendid cities boasting artistic treasures and tourist
activities. You will be placed near some of the most famous and characteristic
villages in Tuscany: Cortona, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, and others.

If you are a wine enthusiast, don't forget to take (and not in a rush) the Via
Chiantigiana, a road crossing the whole area which produces the Chianti wine.

You will cross a land rich in hills whose slopes display vineyards and whose
tops are embellished by towers of medieval hamlets and bell-towers of age-old
churches. There are also wine-cellars and restaurants where you will be able to
taste the Tuscan cuisine while drinking a glass of Chianti wine, renown all over
the world.

If you enjoy fashion and going shopping, don't forget that Florence is one of
the fashion capitals of the world. You can indulge yourself in the many fine
shops in the center of Florence. But if you'd rather save than spend, don't let
the "outlet-shop" signs found on highway exits pass unnoticed. You are likely to
find clothes and objects of the Italian haute couture for very reasonable prices
in some of these stores!

The closest airport is Florence.
