The Cabin is spacious, clean and well furnished. Located very close to the lake and the ski slopes. unsafe Troy T. from Vail, AZ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2008 All of the furniture and appliances were VERY old, and some of it unsafe. The furnace made wierd noises, and the bathroom heater started smoking after we used it for a while. Also, everything was very dusty when we arrived and we found someone's old sock on the floor. Although the cabin size could accomodate a larger family (we never used the upper deck), it was a very special winter experience for my family. I must recognize that the proximity to shops and restaurants made it very convenient for us since it was our first stay at Big Bear Mountain.
