Great Location, Above Average Cabin Melissa S. from Loma Linda, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2010 I found it difficult to get in touch with rental staff. The phone is rarely actually answered. The property was definitely left by me in better condition than when we got there. I cleaned kitchen and bathrooms. They were very dusty apon arrival. Overall, we were happy with the cabin. It's location was ideal for Bear Mountain snowboarding and love the large living area. Most rental agencies do not charge a $250 deposit. Great family place! Tiffany E. from Irvine, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2010 Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Luna property. Our daughter and dog played for hours in the HUGE fully fenced yard. We drove around and found local sledding spots and then came back to warm up by the fire. The house is very comfortable and is in a great location. The only bummer is that the TV is pretty small. Other than that, our family had a really fun weekend staying at this property. We came to stay in the snow for a couple days and we were pleased it had a flat driveway with a big yard. Nice location with a bit of a view of some slopes. The dishwasher was out of order, the BBQ propane tank was empty, (we refilled it and will get reimbursed for it), and two of the downstairs windows were cracked. The knick knacks and furnishings gave the property a homey feeling and it was clean, however it could use a thorough cleaning to rate it spotless. Also, the bathtub jets spit out some junk so I couldn't use the jets however the tub and shower itself were clean, like new. Property management was helpful and accommodating. Jacuzzi Scam, and No Towels Jason M. from Marina Del Rey, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2009 This cabin was really nice, however after a day of skiing its disappointing to find out the jacuzzi has padlocks all over it when the manager specifically said jacuzzi. Then We took a shower and there was 2 towels about the size of hand towels for Both of us. He didn't say hey you might want to bring some towels unless you are a dwarf. Bottom line: Dont sell me on Jacuzzi when its unavailable, this is a tight economy and we would of stuck with a cheaper cabin. Other than that this was a really cool cabin. Management goes above and beyond! John K. from San Diego, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2008 management staff extremely helpfull. Our original unit was down for repairs and we were upgraded to "Blue Heaven" a larger unit. Blue Heaven was gastly! Pink fireplace, turquoise carpet, powder blue walls, dried flowers, dolls & butterflies as decor with leopard print curtains in the guest room. TACK-O-RAMA! We went back to the management company and Gary worked hard to find us a place a little more rustic. The property on Luna was AWESOME! Thanks to Gary we had a wonderful vacation. Only downside to the property on Luna...Moldy bread was left in the cabinet, moldy potatoes were in the fridge, the dishwasher did not work, and the hot tub cover was difficult to remove, half of is was broken and filled with water. However, dispite these few minor details, the place was GREAT! Well decorated, Rustic yet modern, panoramic view. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place! Thanks again to the staff at Getaway2BigBear for helping us to find the place that was just right. We'll definately be back. It was clean and had everything we needed plus a little more! We were so comfortable we actually were hoping to get snowed in!!!
