Great family vacation A guest from Los Altos, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2011 The house was great. Lots of room for the 6 kids to roam, and was convenient. Only thing was that we went to the area for snow...and most had melt in Arnold and around the house. We wanted to open the door and have the kids play in the snow and instead they played with leftover ice. It was fun, but not snow. We drove up to bear valley and had a great time. Stayed for 3 nights.Pros: Great location, nice big house for 10. Very clean. Fully equipped kitchen. Wouldn't mind going there again.CONS: The ad posted on the web said it was 3 bath but it was 2.5 bath. We had problem with hot water on the 2nd day. After 3 or 4 people took shower, hot water ran out. Called prop mgr who showed up in 15 mins and increase the temp setting. But we still had the same issue i.e. not enough hot water for shower. No, we were not wasting water.Inspite of couple of negative comments, we are all liked the house. It is about 3500 sft, large of enough for kids to have plenty of fun.
