Appartamento Marilena B is a 35-square-meter apartment which sleeps three
people. It is located in the heart of Amalfi. It is 70 meters (about 230 feet)
away from the sea and the beach, and 50 meters (about 164 feet) away from the
Duomo (cathedral) of Amalfi. The apartment is equipped with air-conditioning and
winter heating.

There is a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a living-room with a divan
bed, and a kitchenette.

The place

The apartment is situated on the second floor of a medieval building placed in
an old and small square adjacent to the famous square of the Duomo. You will be
in the oldest and most central part of Amalfi, and in the heart of all the
tourist activities: the seaside, the beach, the port, and the main bus stop are
only a few steps away with no need to climb up or down any street filled with
steps. The only steps to be climbed are those inside the building in order to
reach the second floor, where the apartment is. The staircase consists of about
34 steps.

During your stay at Appartamento Marilena B you will conveniently reach on foot
all the main streets of Amalfi, dedicated to shopping and strolls. You will also
have a vast range of options of bars and restaurants with outdoor tables and
seaview right at hand.

The apartment faces a small indoor courtyard, rendering your stay peaceful and
tranquil even if you’re in the heart of the town.

You don’t need a car during your stay at Appartamento Marilena B, but in case
you have one, you can book a pay parking space.

The house

The apartment has been furnished with care and taste in white and blue colors,
and it’s got a floor in glossy terracotta of local manufacture. Overall it is
fresh, well-kept, and cozy.

You will first enter the living-room, which features a large kitchenette, a
table with chairs, a divan bed, and a satellite dish TV. The living-room has a
patio door which communicates with a small courtyard inside. From the
living-room you can reach the double bedroom and the comfortable en-suite
bathroom equipped with a spacious shower. The bedroom also faces the indoor
courtyard.

The kitchenette is beautiful and comfortable, and it equipped with a four-burner
stove, an oven, and a fridge. You may also use a shared laundry-room equipped
with a washing machine and a dryer.

Nearby tourist attractions

From Appartamento Marilena B you will be able to walk in two minutes to the
square of the Cathedral of Amalfi, which is the "sitting room" of the village.
Here there are elegant shops and excellent cafes, pastry shops and restaurants
that setup their tables outdoor. You will find it very pleasant to stop here to
enjoy a cappuccino, an Italian ice cream or a "delizia al limone" (a "lemon
delight", the traditional cake of the Amalfi Coast), in front of the splendid
and imposing façade of the Cathedral.

If you walk for 50 more meters (about 164 feet) you will find the large Flavio
Gioia square, with its promenade along the sea, the access to the beaches, and
the bus station for the buses that connect all the villages along the coast,
including Ravello and Positano, as well as Pompeii and Paestum.

Here there is also the quay, where you will be able to board ferries or rent
boats to visit the coast from the sea and reach Positano, Capri, Sorrento,
Ischia, Naples, Salerno, Agropoli and the coast of Cilento National Park.

To stay at Appartamento Marilena B you will not need a car. Public
transportation is comfortable, cheap and efficient. If you have a car, you will
be able to reserve a parking spot, to be paid locally.

The nearest airport is the one in Naples.
